New thread. We're picking up speed!

Night night!

Afternoon.

It is absolutely bucketing down here. It hasn't stopped since yesterday. I got drenched this morning going to the asthma pharmacist. So went straight on to matalan and bought dc puddlesuits.

Chocolate I feel you on the snoring. Joe snores something awful. I really hope the lady will follow through on her promise and give us the van. We definitely need something.

I'm very lucky I have two guys in my life who can fix things lol

Fluffy I'd be afraid to leave the washing out all night! But I don't live in a super windy place lol I'm glad you get Christmas Eve off!

Mrs Amazing photos!! It's sunny today! We had to turn the heat on last night as I woke up and the house was 20 C! Too cold!

wreck We had a weird position last month. All of a sudden a car comes tearing into the park where we have no through traffic and police followed them! Turns out it was a police chase that had started about 40 minutes away! There were news reports and everything. I was just like why did they drive in here of all places?

Here's my little Christmas tree all lit up last night! I didn't sleep well last night. Azrael climbed up on me at about 3 am and just kept walking all over me and making muffins. I kept trying to get him to lay down and when he did it was right between my legs so I couldn't roll over to my side because I'd squash a cat haha. Then I thought I heard something outside and it was a really scary noise but I pulled up my security camera and didn't see anything? I figured it must be a raccoon, opossum, or a stray cat? We have quite a few stray cats around.

Today we need to clean clean clean. I need to rearrange my front room too

It's strange. We live in a nice area with lots of million pound houses, one even had a helipad. Then there's our road tucked away about 50 houses/flats 50/50 private and social housing but because it's so rural there's never any trouble or anything.

We haven't had any rain today it's clouding up now but it's quite warm. Almost home time. Still nothing about the job. I can't stand all this waiting!

wreck Our area is usually not too terrible either (now that the crazy pensioner neighbor moved out) We get ambulances because we do have a lot of older neighbors. But no police trouble.

I think because we're off the main road in our own little area and we have lots of trees and it's just pretty quiet.

Now look here Dave there is no way you can tell us your FIL is painting the front of your house without putting at least a pic of the paint tin. I will accept a google image of said paint can if all else fails

Joe is finishing up the second coat of hallway paint! When he's finished I can go shower! (he's blocking the hall) I'm trying to figure out what color curtains would work in the hallway too.

Mrs I'm glad your trip to Goldcliff went well!! Joe and I are going out and about today. Nowhere special but I just need to get out of the house. I'm getting a bit antsy

We finally have our Christmas plans nailed down. We will have the ILs from 20-23 Dec. Then the three of us 24-26 Dec and then my parents 27-29 Dec and just the three of us for New Year. Need to start food planning!

Mrs I was tempted my the dinosaur puddle suits in matalan but I just went for a plain blue and yellow. DS and dd are the same size so I can swap them over. The good thing about having Irish twins

I can't wait to jump into the bath tonight because I still don't feel like I've dried off even though I'm in different clothes. But I was drenched to the bone. And no hanger drier thing, I'm boring and have a Lakeland airer.

You get a helicopter chasing folks? Holy cow! I've never seen that here. I know they do it but we're too rural. we just get the police chase folks haha usually there's drugs involved and that's why they are running from the police.

Wreck my phone loses my messages after a while, and it takes me too long to go back and then write a reply to everyone.

Neros I love my chest freezer! It's great for Bargains and Christmas food (or both - I found Cauldron arancini calzone for 69p in Heron, perfect for the Boxing Day buffet!). But DH puts stuff in it without telling me. I found lamb's liver in there tonight - I won't eat it and I do all the cooking, so God knows when he thinks he's going to eat it?!? 🤷🤦
