So friends, I did not get to go to the event tonight. DD2 (R) has some tummy issues. Joe has said we'll got to the angel ourselves next week and pay a visit to Calypso and take photos. So at least we can still go.

So send us good thoughts and prayers. We are fundraising so that I can buy an accessible van. For those new to the thread I cannot walk at all and am in a chair permanently and use a powerchair 99% of the time. Well one of the ladies Joe delivers to bought a new accessible van her old one has a few problems with it but she told Joe she might give it away. He told her to please call him if she decided to do that because we could have my daddy check it out and see if it's worth taking and we could use the money we raised to fix the van up! I'm just so hoping we're going to finally have an accessible van soon. Even if this one doesn't work out we're still fundraising!

Sharing a hotel room with DM - and I know remember why we haven't been away with each other for a while - she snores like a train

I'd love one of those airers but my 1970's dormer bungalow has ceilings I can touch so it wouldn't really work sadly. DM has one - all good until your knickers drop off during tea and land in the middle of the table

Wheels hope the van is a good option - it sounds like you have a pretty useful lot around you too. My DH is trying to become "useful" - he works pretty hard in his day job but then likes to try to do all the diy jobs around the house too - whether skilled at them or not! We are lucky to know a couple of good tradespeople who don't mind him tagging along as they work and teaching him bits as they repair his mistakes

Flouncy, send your DH to the GP if his snoring is that bad. It's not normal and you don't have to live with it medically, not LTB!

We've been told we're being given Christmas Eve off, which means I'll get a day's leave back. Yay! It'll be used for the kids' Christmas concerts.

Morning all! I had a crap nights sleep. A woke up at 4 and decided he just wasn’t going back to sleep, I didn’t get to sleep until about 1. I’m going to try and sleep when they have their nap today. Or I might not give them their nap and hope that makes them sleep tonight!.

fanny I used to sleep in until 1 before the twins came along!. I honestly don’t know how I do it now, I’ve tried everything too. They just don’t like sleep apparently!!.

I’ve decided to use the twins initials on here now rather than say DT1 and DT2 because it confuses me😂.

I see houses about me being overdeveloped and the gardens absolutely desecrated. Decking, artificial turf and there's nothing left for the insects and birds. I won't let my DH take our old shed down because of the insects in the wood. Let it fall down and rot naturally. Hey ho l will STFU now 🙄

Fluffy 😊 wonderful stuff re your Christmas Eve off 😀yay! You are so lucky to have such a Fab wind where you live. We don't have a lot here. My DH hates drying things on the rads too because it causes blasted condensation , so l am going to have to dry the lot in the tumble 🙄

The lessons are £20 for half an hour here. My Dd2 did piano but never practiced, she liked it but she needed another piano to continue and when given the ultimatum of us having to spend a lot of money on replacing the old one she decided to give up & she has never regretted it so l suppose it was for the best. I can imagine the flak from my family if we had bought a new one and then she dropped the lessons 😁

Dd only started recently but is taking her initial exam next month. We don't have a piano but she has a full sized keyboard with weighted keys so hopefully be ok for a while! None of us are musical so I'm not sure where she gets it from! We pay just over £16 for half an hour I think but dd has two half hour lessons a week term time only spread over the year. Luckily mil pays half or we wouldn't be able to do it!

This is when the in laws are worth their weight in gold 😉👌. It sounds like she is a natural Wreck if she's taking her first exam , well done to her 🤗
Have pics will post of it here this morning, not too bad but not that good. At least it's dry 🤞😀 better shift am going to Goldcliff this morning. We haven't been since before my Dad died and my back was bad so we shall enjoy this morning. I don't even care if it rains 🤗

A got sent home from nursery, he’s got a horrible cold and temperature. So that’s probably why he was up so early. He’s dosed up with Calpol and asleep now (thank god).

flouncy he’ll have shared it with me and his brother at least. I’m going to have a nap whilst he naps. I’m shattered.

wreck I love when stuff like that happens. The other week a couple had an argument in the street and the police came. I couldn’t look away😂.

DF is coming over later to help finish off painting the front of the house. We’ve Gone for a purpley pink.

Fluffy is it unusual for you to have Christmas Eve off work?
My old workplace used to close over Christmas which was lovely but where I am now has Christmas Eve as a short day (9-3) instead.

Wreck I had piano lessons, made it to grade 7 before stopping. I still play now though. I'm out of practise but I find it really relaxing.

This illness is taking it out of me. I woke up every 2 hours last night and ended up giving in and getting up at 4:45. Managed an hour 7:30-7:30 and am completely drained now.
Also, the dogs are doing my head in. DDog2 is snoring his head off but DDog1 will not sit down and the clip clip clip of her feet on the laminate floor is driving me nuts 🤬
