DaveTheGhost · 07/10/2019 21:14

Sorry Grin Mrs

WheelchairWoes · 07/10/2019 21:16

fluffy I really love it! I don't blame you for being a regular shopper in Aldi lol

Mrs Honestly it's weird. It's very dependent on where you live about cost of stuff. Like even comparing food prices here to my friend 40 minutes away? It's a huge difference in prices

Fiddle How late in the season can you guys put clothes out? We'll be able to probably until about middle of November and then it will get too cold and wet!

Off to paint!! (read: my job is keeping the Azzy cat from jumping in paint)

NoWordForFluffy · 07/10/2019 21:20

Wheelie, we can line dry all year thanks to a coastal breeze. My parents are pretty central / landlocked and can't do it much past October.

TheWoollybacksWife · 07/10/2019 21:25

I can confirm that. My mum was NW coast and line dried all year round (plus she had a fab ceiling dolly in the kitchen). I'm in central England about as far away from the coast as you can get and I put my whirly clothes line in the garage on Saturday until the spring. I'll most likely be doing small loads of washing and using a heated airer and tumble dryer in the meantime.

Chocolateteabag · 07/10/2019 21:37

I think I may need to road test the advent calendars just to be sure Wink a bit like how I've "road tested" 2/5 of the 75p chocolate oranges Blush

I always think it's a bit weird how some people are a bit Hmm about shopping at Aldi - like it's beneath them somehow. We shop there every week and there isn't much I ever have to get anywhere else tbh. Just need to stay away from the middle aisles!

Now in a cheap hotel round from the hospital - taking the advantage of a child free night and a tv in the bedroom. It's like a shitty mini break Confused

FireflyGirl · 07/10/2019 21:38

I leave you for one (and a bit) day, and you're 160 posts into a new thread Xmas Shock

I shop at Aldi Chocolate and it’s brill!. One of the mums at nursery doesn’t shop there as apparently it doesn’t taste as good as the real thing!.

Fluffy and woolly Thanks for answering my question!! I hope you guys don't mind my periodic questions. I just wonder about how stuff is different here and there sometimes :)

Chocolate We have some folks here like that. I get a few raised eyebrows 'You shop at Aldi? Why?' but besides them being very affordable? They are one of the few shops that is very very wheelchair accessible! They don't clog the aisles with crap like other shops!

I hope you are able to get some sleep tonight despite the worries for your DSIS.

Mrs I LOVE that one! We have one we got at Target but I'm going to order this one too! My kitties have almost eaten theirs
cat house

Mrsmadevans · 07/10/2019 22:12

WheelchairWoes · 07/10/2019 22:14

Mrs That's it! My mom got it for my cats last month! But Lilah eats cardboard and has totally almost eaten the entirety up haha. It's looking sad! I'm going to see about getting the one from Aldi online

LOL They love to be a nuisance! Lilah is the worst. She climbed up onto my basket shelf and scared me to death! She's the only kitty we have who likes to be super up there.

Fanny Thank you so much!! I think it would be awesome to hang in the kitchen and get stuff dried during the winter!

DaveTheGhost · 07/10/2019 23:38

Mrs and fanny as much as she’s chatted my head off, I’ve very much enjoyed nattering with you Mrs!

wheelie oh she’s gorgeous though isn’t she!. I’d love a cat but I wouldn’t get one just yet, the poor thing would be run ragged by the twins, or the other way aroundGrin

Well I’m off to bed now! (Will probably pop back in after my nightly wee).

Can I ask a question? How long have you been doing these threads, I’ve been here since 2016 and I haven’t seen it once!.
