‘Sounded like I was in a washing machine’ it really made me laugh😂. I’m in the West Midlands, so it isn’t windy at all by us really. And I’m close to the big cities so it’s very built up.

I’m really looking forward to seeing the display! They usually put on really big ones around September time.

NoWordForFluffy · 11/10/2019 07:28

It's not a saying or phrase, it's just my description!

Enjoy the display. Xmas Grin

Morning 🌞
Wheelie those rides look terrifying 🤪. Thank you for sharing your pics with us it's great to see the different way of life in the USA to us here 🤗. Hope you had a great night sleep too 😴💤.
Fluffy , Liverpool sounds brilliant. I know what you mean re the washing machine noise 😂. Our double glazing when it's windy is like that😄.
It's wet windy & warm here & felt warm overnight too. Off to Mum's soon .
The toys look excellent and they are very good bargains Til. Have a lovely day with your family Bless them🤗

I think there's probably an easy fix for that, flouncy. I bet I could sort them for you!

Our rain is due to piss off at lunch time, then dry until Sunday.

Fanny l know Fluffy would relish the challenge 😄
Alternately am thinking outside the box here. Have you an electrical workshop coming near you. They are free and help ppl mend their old electrical things. I will look and see what it is called. Post LTR. 🤞🤔😜

repaircafe.org/en/about/
Have a look here 😁

TilandPop · 11/10/2019 08:33

Thank you mrs, have a good day with you mum Xmas Smile

Fluffy that’s probably why I don’t know it then😂

Fanny it says rain from 11-3 here, but only 50%
chance so fingers crossed it doesn’t happen. I’m sure you can find a way to fix the lights.

Wel Peppa the bloody Pig has gone off and we’ve moved on to the less annoying Ben and Holly😂.

Mrsmadevans · 11/10/2019 08:34

Yes it crossed my mind about the repair shop 😁. I love that programme 🥰😍🤩❤️ it's like a dose of Valium for me . When all is bad in the world watch an episode of that and it does it for me 😊🤗

Mrsmadevans · 11/10/2019 08:36

Must shift 😆
Mum up and about been on the phon to me already 😁

NoWordForFluffy · 11/10/2019 08:42

Enjoy your day, everyone!

Fluffy 😊

WreckTangled · 11/10/2019 09:39

I had a heron try to cross the road in front of me this morning! Honestly I'm used to deer, pheasants and sometimes the odd dog but never a heron Grin

CrazyBaubles · 11/10/2019 09:51

Thank you for the advice / concern about the cough. I've been taking some generic Tesco cough medicine DH picked up for me and it's gone from chesty to dry now so hopefully I'm on the mend.
My voice is back but is very croaky and I sound like I'm just about to cry every time I speak 😂

chocolate so glad to see another Gilmore Girls fan. Would love to live in Stars Hollow!

Im so happy that space hoppers are still popular, I loved mine (and it was so much easier than a pogo stick).

Great pics as always wheels

Wreck wonderful wildlife where you are.

I'm off work again today so visiting dsis and the babies then more rest / crochet / online shopping. I'm very deliberately taking it slow to make sure I get fully better as my immune system is rubbish and I never let myself properly recover from anything which doesn't help.
Will admit DH gave me a bit of a talking to yesterday because I dont look after myself, am always too busy and taking on extra things so I think something has to give.

NoWordForFluffy · 11/10/2019 09:55

Wreck, we have herons at the allotments! They are bloody impressive!

Crazy, it's good to look after yourself.

Morning all, sunshine here but chill. I feel like I've been run over by a bus - interview followed very quickly by a big meeting with lawyers where my boss stayed at the end of the room and gave me the seat in the middle to chair the meeting - thanks but YIKES!! (And some warning would have been great!!).

Once I've changed my tights to a pair without a hole (stiletto heels tend to snag tights on me grr!), I'm going out for fresh air and retail therapy! An afternoon of paperwork and phonecalls, and then home to wine by the pint! (And organising sailing courses and a plan for tomorrow morning's Cubs meeting - which may possibly feature a lot of games this week!!)

NerosFiddle · 11/10/2019 13:58

Thanks for the Liverpool recommendations. We go quite often but it's always with dc so everything is geared more towards them. I was looking at Baltic Market but we've just missed Oktoberfest.

WheelchairWoes · 11/10/2019 14:36

fluffy I'm glad it's nothing scary. When people talk about winds I worry it's like us and we get some that are really scary and can cause some good damage.

The festival was a lot of fun. I like looking at the booths of people selling things! This lady had all kinds of Halloween and Christmas trees!

Til haha my kids missed the Peppa Pig phase but I guess there are a lot of American children speaking in accents thanks to Pepper Pig!

Mrs I would NEVER go on most the rides. The Carousel is about it for me I'm afraid haha. Sleep was good. Woke up and it's pissing down rain! It's a constant downpour

Fanny They can't wait! I think LED trial for the lights is a good idea!

Crazy I'm glad your voice is slowly coming back even by a little bit.

Biddy You survived the interview! YAY!

NerosFiddle · 11/10/2019 15:19

Wheels for a country so small we have a lot of accents. It is the same in the UK. Accents practically change by the street you grew up in.

WheelchairWoes · 11/10/2019 15:21

fiddle That makes sense. Because I know there are some of my friends I understand pretty well. But this one? Her accent is so thick and she uses so much slang it's like how I feel stumbling into Scottish twitter. She's thankfully very nice and when I tell her 'I have no idea what you just said' she tells me in text what she said lol I guess she has a Scottish friend and between the two of them neither of them can understand each other. LOL

TheWoollybacksWife · 11/10/2019 15:30

I bought this today. I don't know whether to paint it or leave it as it is. If I paint it should I do it in traditional colours (white house, red roof, green trees) or white with gold accents?

WheelchairWoes · 11/10/2019 15:34

Woolly That's lovely!! You should definitely paint it traditional colors. I think it would look amazing

Mrsmadevans · 11/10/2019 16:53

Buy another one and do them in both colourways Woolly , aren't they sweet? Smile
Wheelie lovely stuff in the festival stalls, think you are right not to even think about any of the other rides Grin
Wreck , herons on my Mum's roof now and again wanting to eat the fish in NDN pond Grin
Biddy, well done on your interview and the chair, job's in the bag l reckon ...yay!
Crazy you take care m'dear, throat sounds awful , at least you have the weekend now to help you Smile your DH is right! Smile
Nero you are right re the accents there are so many!
