fanny Nope. lol puff pastry is something completely different. At least here haha It's got a totally different consistency. We just use biscuit dough and the photos you guys showed me of jam and stuff on your scones? Thats how we eat our biscuits haha. Puff Pastry is really only used in deserts and little pies and things.
LOL
I fell asleep so early last night and woke up feeling kind of hung over because I slept too much! Ready to go out and about today! My hearing aid that was at the shop is fixed so we're picking him up today and seeing how it goes! We'll drive by the town square so I can get some pics of them setting up the festival.
Book and cook don't sound the same here in my area. Book rhymes with took and cook sounds like cuck lol But I'm told I have the midwestern accent haha
woolly interesting! I'm craving our type of biscuits now covered in jam and butter. Yum.....but we have none haha I'll post a photo and dream of eating it haha
crazy That advent is AMAZING omg!! And I can totally see that on him wanting more festive than his mom does. Makes a lot of sense.
I don't like the taste of bacon lol so I would try your version of pigs in a blanket just to say I have hahaha one of my facebook friends from the UK tried our version of pigs in a blanket and declared she was making them that way forever haha it amused me.
We have Breakfast, Dinner (some folks call it lunch it depends on your location. But even our wikipedia says dinner is the biggest meal and that used to be eaten midday so it's right for both lunch and supper) and then we have Supper. Brunch is between breakfast and dinner.
Fiddle I LOVE accents!
Also guys I just realized I have a new decoration this year I think you all are going to love and I forgot to tell you all about it. In 1978? My mother went to a pottery painting and glazing place that her friend owned in Colorado. She purchased a few pieces of a nativity to try and painted them. She didn't have the money to get them fired but her friend gave her the rest of the figures and fired them all for free one figure at a time when she fired the students pieces. So this nativity sat on my grandmothers mantle since 1979 but now she has dementia and has been trying to throw things away. So my mom rescued the nativity and now I own it! This will be the first year I'll get to use it and i'm so excited! I've got it stored beneath my china cabinet and will share photos of it with you. IT's really a large set
