Ah that's so nice. I don't really think about it as I drive past it at least weekly.

WheelchairWoes · 09/10/2019 18:15

My new hearing aid. Just died. Doing the exact same thing the other one did. Meanwhile my right aid? Has been alive and working for 5 YEARS. WTF. Back to the audiologist. I'm in tears

WheelchairWoes · 09/10/2019 18:16

wreck I have no idea what goodwood is but you two looks so well put together with your outfits!

TilandPop · 09/10/2019 18:25

Can I hop on the thread? I‘ve just bought some things for our Christmas Eve boxes so I’m feeling uber Christmassy. I hope you don’t mind me hopping on 😅

WreckTangled · 09/10/2019 18:27

Wheelie it's a race course!

Welcome Til Smile

WheelchairWoes · 09/10/2019 19:36

wreck ok that's AWESOME! I'd love to go to something like that

til Welcome to the thread!

So dropped off my new hearing aid. They've decided to send it back to the manufacturers. They think what happened is a file in my old aid got corrupted. And the new aid? They transferred all my files from my old one onto the new one. They think it caused my new aid to die. So it will probably be next week before they get it back. Tuesday or Wednesday. I hope they really fix it. It's my left hearing aid and that's the one with the worse hearing loss

TheWoollybacksWife · 09/10/2019 19:47

Chocolate if you are anywhere near a Farmfoods they do 3 x 18 roll packs of loo roll for £11. Probably better for the pipes than the thick triple ply quilted stuff.

We've been out for dinner (Pizza Express; it was rammed!). I now have a pounding head. Again. My bug won't fully piss off. Sad

I'm watching Grand Designs. The Apprentice got a bit too samey a few years ago now.

Not to worry DH has recorded it , will watch it after the Apprentice.
You are still poorly m'dear you MUST have had a nasty bug bless you Flowers

WheelchairWoes · 09/10/2019 22:01

fanny that looks so awesome!! Our closest racecourse is 3 hours away haha. So we've never driven down to see anything.

LMAO! I quote that all the time. To be honest I don't watch baseball or any sport. I do like ice skating and curling when it's olympic time! haha but that's about it

til I put it on last week on Tuesday and it was fine for a while and then boom. Nothing! So I thought it might have been my battery and I put it in and nothing :( So they sent it to the company because I have a warranty until 2021. When I got the new one today I was excited because they just sent me a new one but like that one I had it in for 10 minutes and then it died. So I'm without it until they figure out why they keep breaking.

Let us know and show us any pretty decorations you get :)

Fluffy I'm so sorry you are still sick! Please make sure you don't spike a fever, with all the head stuff that's a good recipe for a sinus infection.

Mrs My favorite scones are butterscotch! They are so yummy

Also yes! lol although I don't have an aid person right now either :(

Joe's off to work and the kids are off to dinner with my daddy.

NoWordForFluffy · 09/10/2019 22:16

I'm only 15 miles from Aintree racecourse (if that!) and I've never been! Not my thing overly. 🐎

TilandPop · 09/10/2019 22:19

Wheelie bloody hell thats a nightmare, fingers crossed you actually get it sorted this time!

It’s a 10 minute drive from my nearest race course but I never go. It isn’t my thing really🤷🏻‍♀️

WheelchairWoes · 10/10/2019 02:18

fluffy I am not sure it would interest me either but I think I'd want to go once just to say I've done it

til It's so maddening! I was crying off and on about it all day

DD2 and I went on a roll this evening. It was super cool and felt so nice just to get out and about!

Here's Azzy saying sleep tight everyone!

Morning!

It sounds pretty wild outside today. I think we've a mix of dry and wet, so it's a take your chance kind of day!

I think my headache has gone; there's a little shadow, but could be worse.

I hope all the ill people are improving. Flowers

Cute kitty, Wheelie!

Another beautiful sunrise here. The mornings have been glorious, and then it's rained later on.

I put DS's white school tops out on the line yesterday, despite the rain. He has a lot of tomato based food, and getting them out on the line is the only way to shift the stains!

There's a race course 10 minutes from us, as well. I've been a few times with work, and did Ladies Day with my friends once, but it's been years since I last went.

Glad to hear your aid is being fixed, Wheelie. Shame you have to do without until then, though.
