@Crackery I have just messaged you a white stuff code.

NoWordForFluffy · 05/10/2019 07:29

I had an email saying my Mentos are delayed!

We just bought a motorised train and created our own tree train! #tight

princessbear80 · 05/10/2019 07:45

Thanks for the snap fish offer. Another stocking filler sorted.

Bluewavescrashing · 05/10/2019 07:48

@spam88 I can't believe how cheap the flights were. £44 each way! Thurs - Sun too. I tried a few dates and that really got the price down. Feeling proud as I've never booked a flight before, DH usually does it.

My mentos are also delayed... And my caterpillar from Amazon hasn't arrived either, has anyone had theirs?

SushiGo · 05/10/2019 07:55

My caterpillar arrived yesterday, as suspected it came from China and has no toy safe marks on. (didn't smell great)

I may just pass it on to the mum ask if she wants to use it for nursery decoration.

It is very cute!

SquintEastwood · 05/10/2019 07:56

I signed up to the Turtle Doves subscriber thing and got an offer through for 10% off or a £10 off voucher - I used the lucky dip £10 off but kept it safe with a black pair to start my collection. That's my birthday present from the kids sorted :o

I noticed when using this offer you can (WELCOME10) you can apply it to up to 3 pairs so would be £51 for 3 which seems pretty reasonable... I just wanted to try before I buy more for me others.

Changingagain · 05/10/2019 08:13

SushiGo I thought the same about the caterpillar. My son has plenty of bits of train track, lego, etc. from China but I'm not keen on the idea of a painted baby toy that's inevitably going to go straight to the mouth. Should have guessed by the price.

PinkDaydreams · 05/10/2019 08:23

Nutella at Debenhams!! Thank you!

Bluewavescrashing · 05/10/2019 08:24

I'll probably display the caterpillar on a high shelf then. If it turns up!

JaneyJimplin · 05/10/2019 08:40

Whoever was asking about nutella. I bought them as a stocking filler for nephews a few years back. Instead of paying a premium for the personalized ones, I found a seller on ebay who would send you personalized labels v cheaply. I then stuck them on regular nutella. But of a faff, but looked the same and ended up costing a quarter of the price. Just to clarify, im not usually stingy, but I have 8 nutella loving nephews and didnt want to blow £80 on stocking fillers for them!

ReindeerPoop · 05/10/2019 08:44

I bought the Nutella labels on EBay too!

PinkDaydreams · 05/10/2019 08:48

Is that how much they cost, £10 for one jar of Nutella?!

RJnomore1 · 05/10/2019 08:49

Payday weekend what can I buy!

noodledoodler · 05/10/2019 08:55

@runningpink Ikea have little resin christmas ornaments, not hanging decorations but very very cute and I reckon they would fit lovely in those drawers, you could probably attach loops yourself if you are crafty.

PinkDaydreams · 05/10/2019 09:01

To the pp asking about the ikea duktig kitchen. Im also waiting for it to be discounted but I may end up getting an aldi kitchen. I’ve looked at pictures of the last two years aldi kitchens and they look lovely. For anyone that can remember, does the ikea kitchen get discounted by much?

sugarplumfairy2010 · 05/10/2019 09:12

The closer you wait until Christmas the cheaper they are I think they were £6 but I ended up paying less than £4 around a week before christmas not much more than normal cost.x

recklessgran · 05/10/2019 09:13

Look Fantastic 20% off all weekend with code AUTUMN20

Redwinestillfine · 05/10/2019 09:36

This advent tree is gorgeous. We got it last year ( paid about £11) and thought that was well worth it. Just seen it on Amazon for £3.97 and 50p delivery! www.amazon.co.uk/Fablcrew-Christmas-Decoration-Ornaments-Children/dp/B077GCQSSL?tag=mumsnetforu03-21

grapesarenotlikeboiledsweets · 05/10/2019 09:37

For those of you who have ordered from Cox & Cox - did you have any problems with delivery times?
I placed my first order on the 27th and my 2nd on the 29th, money came out of my account straight away but my orders still show as processing.
I'm impatient as want to see my baubles Grin

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 05/10/2019 09:43

@grapesarenotlikeboiledsweets I ordered on Wednesday, it was despatched same day and delivered yesterday. So yours definitely sounds to have been delayed!

recklessgran · 05/10/2019 09:43

Re Cox & Cox - not impressed at all. Ordered 28th just had e-mail today notifying order dispatched. On top of that my referral code doesn't work and I wanted to place another order to complete my decorations "theme".

Sux2buthen · 05/10/2019 09:55

Wow I love those wooden tree ornaments and the tree calendar.

Whatsername7 · 05/10/2019 09:59

Help! Dd8 wants the 'Our Generation' dolls bunk bed - its £49.99! If anyone knows of any sales or discounts please send them my way. Annoyingly, I bought dd2 a chad valley bunk bed in the argos sale for £13. The idea of paying almost 4 times as much kills me! But dd8 is desperate for that particular one. £50 is main present territory and ive already bought that - a ticket to cirque du soliel. I do not want to pay full price if I can help it.

Duchessofealing · 05/10/2019 10:00

@PinkDaydreams I have the Aldi kitchen from 4 years ago and whilst it has lasted the paint has chipped a fair bit so it does look used. The tap also comes off pretty easily (and the hot plates have been used as weapons in our house 🙄). I would still buy it but only because of the price and how old mine were when I bought it (didn’t need it to last a long time).

Thepearofwisdom · 05/10/2019 10:06

Thank you @Redwinestillfine I've just ordered the wooden advent tree, my daughter will love assembling that, I was rather taken with the wooden train too!
