@Redwinestillfine thank you so much for the advent tree tip - that is fab and I've ordered it with DGD2 who will love it I think.
[Will save me spending half a lifetime knitting one - road to hell paved with good intentions!]

UrghJustUrgh · 05/10/2019 10:13

The cold dead eyes of these things were following me around Tesco, should this be useful to anyone...

What was the craft gin offer? Is it finished?

PinkDaydreams · 05/10/2019 10:18

Thanks for the aldi kitchen info. I’ll get the ikea one then. It’s for a two year old so I’m hoping it’ll be played with over the next few years.

SkintSanta · 05/10/2019 10:24

If anyone remembers the lovely bamboo socks we all got last year, they just sent me a free random pair in the post. Obviously a ploy to get me to spend more money (which I did Grin)

Referral offer from them is fairly good however, info in the referral thread.

queenofelves · 05/10/2019 10:30

Some codes I got in emails this morning if they're of any use:

  • Converse (selected styles only), use PROMO40 at checkout, October 5-8.
  • Nike, extra 20% off reduced items, use OCT20 at checkout.
  • Turtle Doves, 15% off offer extended until Monday because of how many orders have been flooding in, I expect from MN WinkGrin
  • Cult Beauty, free delivery over £15 and a free full size bottle of niacinamide 10% + zinc 1% with any £30 order of the ordinary stuff (can vouch for them being amazing stuff, use every night).
grapesarenotlikeboiledsweets · 05/10/2019 10:31

Thanks @PaddingtonBearHardStare I've just emailed them.
@recklessgran I had problems with it accepting my codes too. When I look in the customer dashboard bit it only shows one of my orders, but when I click the link from the email confirmation the other order shows on its own - I have a feeling there are two accounts with my email address!

margaritasbythesea · 05/10/2019 10:32

Does anyone else feel they're on the long wait for a Sylvanian Families deal? Every year it's the same for me, and this year between the dcs I have been asked for 5 sets.

I got the ice cream shop in Argos recently. Unfortunately, although it will go down well, it's not one of the 5!

livingthegoodlife · 05/10/2019 10:44

Did you see the Sylvanian tram? What are the five? My local toy shop has town series restaurant for £29.

mammmamia · 05/10/2019 10:45

Could someone please tell me how long the dr botanicals stuff took to arrive?
I need a present for Wednesday but looks like I’ve left it a bit late to order from them.
Thanks.

Fantababy · 05/10/2019 10:56

Just in case anyone has a baby shark aficionado, Baby Shark fingerlings have just arrived in The Entertainer. There's some other new Baby Shark bits too, I noticed a smartphone.

Disclaimer: I know fingerlings have been slated on here, but DD is a huge baby shark fan!

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 05/10/2019 11:03

@mammmamia I ordered on the Thursday and it wasn't despatched I until the Monday via Hermes so didn't arrive until Wednesday. This was in the middle of the flurry of orders from this thread though! Grin

mammmamia · 05/10/2019 11:05

Haha thanks Paddington! I might give them a call on Monday.
Cute baby by the way Flowers

CupCupGoose · 05/10/2019 11:06

I've ordered the wooden advent tree too. I plan on putting it in the DCs bedroom. Thanks!

Ftumch · 05/10/2019 11:06

@margaritasbythesea Have you ever seen any of the family sets for around £10? I've bought the a house, but it hasn't got any people with it 😬 and I dont want to spend too much more!

I found this set of 4 Christmas tea spoons. I'm going to use them as serving spoons for sauces on the dinner table Christmas day. Hope the link works! here

margaritasbythesea · 05/10/2019 11:19

Livingthegoodlife - thanks but the team is not one. I'm after the lighthouse, the tree house, the seven seater car, the bakery and the fridge. Hmm

Maranello · 05/10/2019 11:22

Buy one get one free on the hot chocolate sachets from Hotel Chocolat - free delivery too:

www.hotelchocolat.com/uk/472732.html

They're designed for the Velvetiser hot chocolate maker (which I have and it's amazing!) but work just as nicely melted into warm milk.

UrbanMage · 05/10/2019 11:24

Thanks @Redwinestillfine that tree is perfect for the centrepiece on my sideboard! It'll replace the sparkly pumpkin that's currently there! Plus added DD bribery.

cailingaelach · 05/10/2019 11:28
