@PaddingtonBearHardStare Lovely photo, look at those gorgeous cheeks!!!Flowers

Duckyneedsaclean · 04/10/2019 17:19

@SquintEastwood thanks. That looks like it might stand up to the inevitable 3 year olds being tucked into it!

NoWordForFluffy · 04/10/2019 17:42

Oh yes, we have a Duktig. It's ace. (Not big enough for a 3 year old though!)

HelloSweetlings · 04/10/2019 17:42

No black forest mince pies in my local Aldi, devastated!
I did manage to pick up the stollen bites, I'll be lucky if they last til tomorrow nevermind Christmas!
Also this cool, light up Jupiter beach ball for space obsessed DD - 99p

Has anyone opened their Cox and Cox tree train? What are they like? I’m quite tempted!

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 04/10/2019 17:47

@MoonlightBonnet I've just got mine today. Will set it up properly tomorrow and take a picture (can't do it tonight as taking DS1 to see Diversity woo hoo)

Jfw82 · 04/10/2019 18:03

For those who don't want to write out labels personalised Christmas stickers at www.thestickersite.com

If you spend £6 you can get a free set of advent calendar stickers with code CHRISTMASADVENT19

Ilikesweetpeas · 04/10/2019 18:11

@PinkDaydreams not sure if they're the same as the Thomas advent calendar but I'd say ok for a two year old. Hope you can find them!

UrbanMage · 04/10/2019 18:35

My Dr Botanicals order arrived today: no oil though. Sent an email with a photo of my box and invoice and they're sending it straight away. The soaps smell nice, some are more fragrant than others.

Now need hand creams for Dd's TAs to go with them.

My typo order also arrived. The box is huge. Goodness knows where I'm going to hide bits!!

Bluewavescrashing · 04/10/2019 18:44

I have a little birthdays pile (my present drawer is full!) where I'm stacking all the October / November birthday presents, once wrapped, in my bedroom. I'm tempted to set up my Cox & Cox train around the pile 😂
Once those birthdays have passed I'll start wrapping Christmas presents and putting them on The Pile. I can't bear to wrap more than a couple of gifts at onceit's so mind numbingI have scissors and ribbon in a drawer under the bed.

Brandalley only delivered 4 items out of 6 so I need to chase them up for the other 2.

FireflyGirl · 04/10/2019 18:49

Anyone buying for babies/toddlers, Amazon have got the Tomy Hide and Squeak eggs for £6.33. This is a good price for a toy that has had a lot of play value in our house.

Sunshine196 · 04/10/2019 18:49

More soap arrived today. What am I going to do with it all 🤣🤣🙈

Sunshine196 · 04/10/2019 18:50

@HelloSweetlings I'm devastated on your behalf. I'm having non buyers regret. I'm thinking of my waistline but that might be a mistake. I'll be passing by it on Sunday I can feel a stop off coming on.

MsMiaWallace · 04/10/2019 18:54

@MsMiaWallace Thanks for the Hogwarts Exprss tip - DS will be a very happy boy!

Wow! Long-standing lurker, de-lurking to say a huge thank you to everyone on these threads for the bargains that have arrived this week. Tried to attach a couple of pics - one of the craft gin club contents: £20 (should have been £40)), and well worth it! Will be a great gift. Have cancelled the account, really easy. 2 lots of birch boxes on buy 2 for £10 (opened an account in my husbands name too, 4 Xmas presents sorted. Now closed both accounts). I’ve not posted pics of my Dr B order, my l’occitane gift set (plus free gifts and free delivery), or my beautiful C&C wrapping paper. Thank you all so much!

Thanks @pepsilola I think that was September's deal as I can't see it on the site now?

PepsiLola · 04/10/2019 20:01

Aah! I get emails regularly as I cancelled my subscription... if I get one this month I will post.

NotPennysBoat · 04/10/2019 20:43

You ladies are amazing, I'm hoping you can help me with a rather specific request!

I would like to buy a gift for a lady going off on maternity leave in December. I only know her in a professional capacity, but she's been really helpful to me in the last few months and I'd like to treat her. I know next to nothing about her so any ideas would be appreciated! Budget about £30 but could stretch for something especially lovely.

noodledoodler · 04/10/2019 20:48

The rest of my Dr Botanicals arrived today, am now planning what to put together as gift bundles - saw some lovely rose cello wrap I might use. Tomorrow I must get up to the attic, we're all tripping on the parcels piling up around the dining table 🙄. That's pretty much all my christmas shopping done, just keeping an eye out for nintendo switch offers. Christmas chutneys all made today too and in a dark cupboard to mellow - I might have a look at the personalised stickers mentioned downthread for the jars. Thanks to everyone for sharing the bargains, I have never been so organised this early this thread has been fab 😀
