Imsorryiasked - thanks very much Flowers

Omg cleaning the oven worked! DH said it was a great idea as a present to each other. I've just booked a 3 night trip to Prague for February and my mum is babysitting. Merry Christmas indeed! Booked flights direct with Ryanair and hotel with booking.com as I was worried looking at reviews of lastminute.com but flights plus hotel was £179 each! Local airport too, flying out at 4pm,back at 11am. 😀👍✈️ I'll get him a guide book to go under the tree!

LazyDaisey · 04/10/2019 15:03

Master of Malts is having a flash sale. Just missed a sample of whiskey for £20 from £40 (regular bottle retails for £500) but this lovely valentines gin tasting set is on sale for half price at £10 for next 3 hours. I plan to separate and use in diy Christmas crackers but they’d also work as stocking stuffers

beadyboo · 04/10/2019 15:08

Stollen bites and lebkuchen are now on the shelves in Aldi (I did a little dance in the aisle)Smile

Whitecandle · 04/10/2019 15:13

@Sunshine196 Black Forrest crumble mince pies 😳😳😳 omg I need

Sunshine196 · 04/10/2019 15:24

@Whitecandle i know! I feel like my life is complete. I didn't buy any yet though as I'm scared I'll scoff the lot. I'll try to stay strong until dec.
I did get some stollen & florentines to go away. Just one pack each as I'm the only one who eats them. I'm doing the obligatory pre-Xmas weight loss so I can put it all back on in a week with all my lovely treats 😀

Sunshine196 · 04/10/2019 15:24

@beadyboo me too! Love them. Nom nom nommmm

Givealittlebit · 04/10/2019 15:24

I don't think I've ever been as excited for anything as Black Forest mince pies 😍

In other news, any advice on what to get a very awkward man for his 28th birthday? He's very geeky, loves gaming etc, has just gone back to uni to study maths...any bright ideas please send them my way!

Whitecandle · 04/10/2019 15:27

@Sunshine196 I'd be scared tb go out of stock and not come back in 😱 luckily for me I have to do a food shop this weekend so will pick a pack or three up.

Sizeofalentil · 04/10/2019 15:28

Does anyone know where I can get a sleepyhead pod from at a bargain price? SIL has asked for one for her new baby due Jan.

IHeartKingThistle · 04/10/2019 15:33

Thread 6 already!

I'm looking for bargainous cashmere - my mum would love a jumper and would never get herself one. Saw some in Tesco but really don't want to get her a Tesco jumper for Christmas, even if it is cashmere!

Very excited to hear stollen bites are appearing...

friskybivalves · 04/10/2019 15:37

Really nice cashmere jumpers in range of and styles on tK maxx website around the £50 mark - is that in budget? Couple for £39.99 in pretty blues/greens.

Sunshine196 · 04/10/2019 15:42

@Whitecandle I am a bit nervous about it too if I'm honest 🤣

Notlongnow1 · 04/10/2019 15:49

Sleepyhead 20% off at john lewis but not exactly a bargain at £103!

Gustavo1 · 04/10/2019 16:07

@22Giraffes my DC have lovely towels from Zara home. They have some nice, more grown up designs too

Duckyneedsaclean · 04/10/2019 16:15

Any thoughts on non plastic doll beds/cots or similar?
Twins turning 3 at Christmas and think they'd like but any decent wooden ones seem to cost 30+

Ftumch · 04/10/2019 16:20

He definitely has that! @TakeMeToYourLiar 🙈

Gooseysgirl · 04/10/2019 16:26

Sorry if this has already been asked/answered, but does anyone know if Sainsbos are doing the Nectar double up this Autumn?

Chocolateteabag · 04/10/2019 16:35

@IHeartKingThistle -

Woolovers 20% off & free P&P with WH20

Their 100% cashmere is still £££ but their Cashmere & Merino mix jumpers are lovely

You an get some really good supermarket/cheap cashmere - but also some awful thin stuff.
Another option would be looking for Boden, Pure Collection or White Company stuff on ebay?

MyIncapableOne · 04/10/2019 16:39

Where’s the Elf? Search and find activity book on Amazon £3.

@TreeLinedMotorway @Gustavo1 thank you both for the suggestions I will go and have a look!

@NotPenny'sBoat glad I could help with the mugs Smile

22Giraffes · 04/10/2019 16:58

Ahh fail! I meant @NotPennysBoat

McAvennie · 04/10/2019 17:00

I know it had been mentioned briefly on the earlier threads but has anyone seen a date confirming when IKEA’s toy kitchen will be on sale?

SquintEastwood · 04/10/2019 17:09

Duckyneedsaclean, these IKEA doll beds are sturdy little things.

25% off Forever 21 via UNiDAYS. They were also doing a £5 off for every new customer. Unfortunately it wouldn’t stack. I got grumpy at checkout because they wanted £3 delivery to a random shop - not even my house but it’s a good discount if there was anything in particular you wanted from them.
