Ah well I've ordered the solitaire anyway. Hopefully my nearly 8 year old can manage it!

SquintEastwood · 08/10/2019 15:42

It's a bargain price, loving the Jacques deal but I'm determined not to buy just for the sake of it this year... I am struggling a little however 🤣

sleepismysuperpower1 · 08/10/2019 15:49

@FrenchieMum2Be what about the cbeebies magazine for your 3yo? x

FrenchieMum2Be · 08/10/2019 15:54

@sleepismysuperpower1 (love the name btw), good suggestion. I feel that Cbeebies mag is all about the toy on the front though...
My eldest gets a weekly Phoenix magazine that she loves, I'm looking for something similarly interesting for a pre-schooler :)

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 08/10/2019 16:01

Yay for all the tape dispensers!

Just been to tkmaxx and they had the busybooks for £6, loads to choose from frozen 2, Spider-Man, Thomas and friends etc. Got a secret lives of pets 2 one to gift with the DVD.

Also lots of lovely chocolates, pannetone in gorgeous little boxes for £2, chilli jams that sort of thing.

Bought a friend a gift boxed mini coffee syrups which are the sugar free skinny Christmas flavours for £6. They also had a set with the spiced pumpkin flavours.

They also had gourmet hot chocolates, hot chocolate stirrers and hot chocolate toppers that would make great presents,

Dogmatix34 · 08/10/2019 16:06

Is the jaques deal still working? I can’t seem to get it to work.

BadgerFace · 08/10/2019 16:06

Am I too late for Smafolk? Must have missed that post... Sad

BadgerFace · 08/10/2019 16:15

@CupCupGoose I bought a Lumea last time they were down to £299 a month or so ago and am very pleased with it so far... V easy to use and regrow the getting sparser by the session!!

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 08/10/2019 16:15

I'm being totally dim and can't find the items that are on offer for jacques of London, help? 🤣

Luxplus · 08/10/2019 16:31

@BadgerFace theres still bags to get, direct link here www.smafolk.dk/da/lagersalgs-lykkeposer/lykkeposer/lagersalgs-lykkeposer/c-49/c-474/p-64819#64819

BadgerFace · 08/10/2019 16:43

Thanks @luxplus Bag ordered for DD2. Hope DD1 doesn’t get jealous!

imsorryiasked · 08/10/2019 16:46

The Jacques offers are no longer available

EvilHerbivore · 08/10/2019 17:30

How much do the smolfolk bags work out as? Google is telling me £71 but that doesn't seem right

BadgerFace · 08/10/2019 17:40

@EvilHerbivore my order said Euro40 so about £35 I think.

MrsLeclerc · 08/10/2019 17:40

Thanks @PinkDaydreams. I might wait a bit and see if the price changes, there’s no rush and he won’t miss it if he doesn’t end up having it.

He’ll only be 16 months at Christmas so he’ll probably be more interested in the boxes!

Jammiebammie · 08/10/2019 18:07

I’ve missed out on a few offers today, but true what @Reastie says, only a deal if you need it!

@Allmyarseandpeggymartin I’m needing to get someone to get to tkmaxx for me, dd loves the skinny syrups would be fab to get in a gift set.

Has anyone purchased the smokfolk gift bags for an older child? I see they go up to 11-12 but wondering if it would be a bit babyish for dd3?

If anyone sees a lol OMG ‘swag’ doll in stock can you please give me a shout.

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 08/10/2019 18:08

Thanks @noodledoodler - £3.99 down from £40 is a great deal (not that I would have ever paid full price!)

Limitedsimba123 · 08/10/2019 18:11

@FrenchieMum2Be my 3yo loves the CBeebies art magazines, it’s mostly filled with craft ideas and the ‘gift’ you get is craft bits to make some of the things in the magazine. This month is Halloween decorations.

Gooseysgirl · 08/10/2019 18:16

Boden 20% off code Q9T2, includes free delivery and returns. Expires 30/11/19

Reastie · 08/10/2019 18:19

Jammie good question about the bags for older children, interested in comments.

I’m after a decent quality popcorn maker hopefully at around the £10 mark. Nipped into Tesco after seeing one mentioned up thread for £7 but there wasn’t any

SheStoodInTheStorm · 08/10/2019 18:27

The Card Factory sell tape dispensers for £1.49 and mine has been going for a couple of years now!

Stolenidentity · 08/10/2019 18:29

I can't get smafolk to work. Trying boys 7-8 but keeps saying 'undefined'. Anyone else having issues?

sleepismysuperpower1 · 08/10/2019 18:34

@FrenchieMum2Be thanks Smile my dd's love the cbeebies mag, there are loads of craft ideas, stories etc inside

SushiGo · 08/10/2019 18:41

Magazine for 3yo - have a look at okido, it's a STEAM magazine for preschoolers.

They made it into a cbeebies show but it was a magazine first.
