Drat. Dh has just opened up his tablet to see it still on the sold page for the Jaques solitaire and curling that I’d bought in haste and not shut down as I needed to get ds to take him for a blood test and running late.

It’s not so much that he minded, more that he was worried he’d ordered something by mistake or that I had bought the other stuff in the shopping basket too as he was still mulling over it.

I’m just mad because he has just found out a couple of his Christmas presents that were not only very bargainous at 80% off but even more so when I had ordered them off his account so I wasn’t paying anything for them. Busted! 😁🤣😂

(To be fair we tend to buy all our amazon third through his account and eBay through mine so I’m not actively being mean! But it’s better when it’s not thrust in his face ...).

Does anyone remember the fake Sylvanian furniture from a year or two ago that was on ebay? If anyone can provide a link I would be very grateful.

@Ewock I got my rapesco tape dispenser from eBay, delivered for £5.50 (and they had it in black, purple, pink and baby blue) Loads up for sale on there.

I have to say it’s the delivery I’m most excited about - I’m going to fly through that fecking wrapping this year

It’s an expensive place to buy traditional “country” clothes but the quality is very good - have bought my Dad a lovely flannel shirt in the past. They also stock some Barbour items and some insanely expensive dog beds.

@MrsLeclerc just been reading reviews on amazon on the twirlywoos boat and quite a few people saying they got it reduced for £18-£20 a few weeks before Christmas. May be worth waiting to see if it comes down in price?

Just to warn about the Jacques solitaire, we bought it last year and the wooden balls are really lightweight and the holes are very shallow so they scatter at the slightest touch so you need a steady hand to play!
