@Thorilicious I got this too! When ours arrived I went to get it out of the box but it doesn't come with separate packaging so no picture for kids to see what it is when they open it. We are going to build ours and wrap it complete (somehow) the night before.
Great bargain though I love it

Well done to those of you who are finished . I am, however, wondering just how you’ve done it. My dd and ds are 12 and 9 and I’ve bought a few bits but not main presents. They write lists but not normally til Oct half term. I’m getting itchy feet but worry they might think of something fab later if write lists too early (younger one more applicable to). How’d you do it??

I saw a few on sites like Groupon etc. They're advertising them as gaming beanbag and some are packages with a footstool. I think about £35 with delivery. Have no idea of quality though. Will try to find a link for you.

Gosh @NaraDeer I’m really sorry to hear of your loss. A tree topper sounds a lovely idea. Could maybe a tree (not necessarily Xmas) be used in some way too?

@BestofLuck I’ve got everyone’s presents and finished buying for 9 year old DDs stocking and advent gifts (I DIY her advent calendar with stationery, lip balms etc) but I won’t buy her main gifts until her list is posted to Santa as it will probably change lots of times.
So I say I’m “finished” but actually I still have to buy her big items.

My kids don't really have access to anything which might make them change their mind as they don't watch advert TV or YouTube etc. I'm not sure how much they discuss at school, but they've never come up with something from school before (they're 5 and 6).

I had to give them the Smyths' catalogue before they could even formulate a vague list.

Obviously this won't last long, but I'll make the most of it while I can.

@BestofLuck i dont have that many to buy for and my dds are still young so wont buy for them before closer to Christmas. But I have just bought dd2 birthday gifts for her 3rd birthday in November and i use this tread to get inspiration and to seek help when insecure about a gift or idea. And I live in Denmark so due to Brexit I kinda wanna get the stuff I want from the UK ordered before end of October...

so I was out when my lego was attempted for delivery today so got to wait for tomorrow now, and my Dr B soaps arrived, I got two coconut ones, one for myself and one as a gift but it doesn't smell that nice, the other two smell gorgeous (lemon and a pink one can't remember the fragrance) which I got as gifts too. I'm tempted to keep one of them now

Best, you should be safe, I'd think. Mine always struggle with lists really (DD makes things up as she doesn't really know what exists; cheese teddy bear, anyone?!).
