So it’s not a thread all about ethical stuff (good grief there’s a lot of plastic tat that’s been purchased by me from these threads over the years) but with our current obsession with soap bars and shampoo bars and then I think it was fireflygirl who did the quote and it tickled me.

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@princessbear80 🙂

Ironess · 03/10/2019 16:53

@Kraggle the morrisons brochure should be out on Monday 7th October.
I work there unfortunately 😂

Jammiebammie · 03/10/2019 16:54

Don’t know if I’m gutted I can’t get to the shops to get some of these bargains, or glad that I’m not spending all my money!

@imsorryiasked are you going to look at the Xmas items at Asda? They’ve got really cute glass mugs with gingerbread men on that I love the look of, think they’d be fab with hot chocolate and scooshy cream. I like their duvet covers for cutting up and using for sewing fabric, much cheaper than buying fabric my the meter, they have lovely throws too.

@Luxplus aw mine don’t like unicorns either! Shame everything for that age is unicorns and pink and sparky... were needing a dinosaur vanity table or something hehe. Liberty house do beautiful small wooden vanity tables and even have matching dress up stands. Glad do lovely ones too in white although more expensive, they often have codes. I’m sure amazon will have some too.

@wornoutboots Oh bless I was half joking, he would love it but he’s a very poorly man and just had his second heart surgery so I won’t be getting one, thank you though. Now I’m wondering if I should get my brother one then my dad can have the pleasure of laughing at him try it instead! I just want to buy a unicycle Grin

Jammiebammie · 03/10/2019 16:55

NoWordForFluffy · 03/10/2019 17:20

LadyNina00 · 03/10/2019 17:22

Bluewavescrashing · 03/10/2019 17:24

NoWordForFluffy · 03/10/2019 17:26

If I was near the London airports I'd do it in a flash! But it's twice the price up this way!

BadgerFace · 03/10/2019 17:27

Thanks @Hedgyhoggy for the Lego cafe tip, perfect for a school birthday party we’ve got coming up!

Chocolateteabag · 03/10/2019 17:27

No bargains to offer up I'm afraid but just thought I'd pop on to say I've received my Dr Botanicals order which smelt lovely but they'd sent 1 of my bars different to what I'd ordered and it was the only bar out of my whole order that I'd specifically wanted for a particular friend. Great customer service and they are sending me the correct one for free!

Spiderpants · 03/10/2019 17:32

Can anyone post the tea link for me, I've had a look and not had any success.

Also in costco this week they had the lego city advent calendar £14.99+vat I'm assuming
They also had 3 pack tins of pokemon cards for just under £24 the same as the picture attached from Argos (but you only get 1 tin from there for a similar price)

recklessgran · 03/10/2019 17:44

@Spiderpants it's this;
www.brewteacompany.co.uk/products/1-4lb-pot-scoop
Use code PROPER to get £10 off so £15 inc p&p.
You can choose which colour pot and which tea you'd like but thanks to us lot they've only got black scoops at the moment.
[Brilliant customer service too - I e-mailed them to ask for a particular colour scoop hence how I know the above!]

Chocolateteabag · 03/10/2019 17:53

chocolatepudandchocolatesauce · 03/10/2019 18:05

I didnt activate my top cashback account before ordering the Lego advent calendar. Is it likely to track still? The offer is still appearing as not being claimed. Can't order it again as and return one as I would have paid twice for postage so not as good a deal!

Luxplus · 03/10/2019 18:07

@jammie yeah i know, i think unicorns are fluffy but neither dds are interested.. For dd1 we actually bought a white one and then my friend who's a painter painted a safari theme on it. Perhaps I should ask her to make another...

wornoutboots · 03/10/2019 18:10

@JammiebammieI

See, over known some who can hardly shuffle around by late 70s, and some who run marathons. One who went backpacking in South Americaa at 77!

The obvious solution is to buy yourself the unicycle

CarrotVan · 03/10/2019 18:16

Which Olay things are £2 at Superdrug? Are they that price on the shelf ticket? And how much are the bargain perfumes? Cheaper than the website price?

I am particularly hard of thinking today...

TakeMeToYourLiar · 03/10/2019 18:16

Did anyone else order the Lego style watch from a few threads ago?

Ours came today but can't work out how to change the time on it

wornoutboots · 03/10/2019 18:19

I've, not over.

Spiderpants · 03/10/2019 18:19

Thank you @recklessgran

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 03/10/2019 18:29

Know we are all suckers for a soft toy I have just had to order both mine a Tommy triceratops for their stockings (who wouldn't want a horn sticking out their stocking :) )

There are other knitted dinos and mammoths too

They have free delivery too

www.tiarosetreasures.co.uk/collections/toys/products/tommy-triceratops

Jammiebammie · 03/10/2019 18:32

@Luxplus that would be brilliant if you could get your friend to paint on one, would be really personal then. (Add pics of you do decide to do that!)

@wornoutboots age definitely is just a number sometimes! Sadly I wouldn’t be able to buy myself a unicycle as I’m disabled and pretty much housebound, can guarantee almost every 70 year old shuffles faster than me (and I’m only in my 30s) Grin
