Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

@Fueledwithfairydustandgin if you want pods I would say the best place to start is by looking what's available in shops for the types of coffee your DH drinks. We have a Nespresso but prefer lungo coffees and the only cheaper pods we can really find are in Aldi and DH found some on Amazon. Then Aldi stopped doing the decaff ones whilst I was pregnant Hmm

Barbie dream house £170.99 instead of £269.99 on Amazon at the minute for prime members

Sorry for the negative post but I ordered loads from Lands End after reading about all the offers here and I’m SO disappointed with the quality! Didn’t like any of of it apart from the sequin Christmas tree top loads of us on here have ordered! Decided to give it another shot so ordered some lovely looking boots on the 40% off offer - they’ve just arrived and the fit is dreadful - I’m a normal size 6 and they are so tight at the top and flapping around my heel at the bottom.
And I’ve just seen they don’t do free returns so I’ll have to pay to return it all! Sad

It’s so weird as a friend kindly gave me loads of her daughters outgrown clothes and most of it was Lands End and it was all lovely. Has it just gone downhill lately, did anyone else find the same with a recent order?

cccameron · 25/09/2019 19:55

Just a caution on the Great British Food marmalade gin offer. The dd mandate locks you in to minimum 12 months direct debit so not sure if you can cancel after the 3 issues. The 12 months would be more than the gin is worth!

Shutupanddance1 · 25/09/2019 20:03

Ah, kinda glad to hear that I’m not the only one who was having trouble with Argos. Managed to get 1 out of 3 things that I needed so that’s a start..

bridgetjonesmassivepants · 25/09/2019 20:14

I cancelled a similar Great British Food deal last year with no issues - just stopped the direct debit as usual. Don't want anyone to be out of pocket though!

buckeejit · 25/09/2019 20:22

@Tooner - I'm uk but NI so we always get shafted on p&p. If they don't use RM

I've put a halt to my spending for now as I've gone a little overboard already!

ScarlettDarling · 25/09/2019 20:44

Just tried to use a Cox and Cox referral but can't find where to enter the code! Thought it was where it says media/discount code but that just says invalid code when I enter it there. Am I missing something?

NotPennysBoat · 25/09/2019 20:50

@ScarlettDarling I couldn't get the code to work on my phone but it did work on my laptop.

MulberryPeony · 25/09/2019 20:52

Are they one use only maybe @Scarlett?

AUTUMN50 for 50% off at Dr Botanicals. I’m getting offers from them virtually daily but thought this one was decent enough to share. I treat myself to some stuff just for me last week and find the quality good, excellent for the prices when discounted actually!

MulberryPeony · 25/09/2019 20:52

Offer ends tomorrow night by the way.

ScarlettDarling · 25/09/2019 20:57

Thanks NotPennys , finally got it to work, realised I was typing in a 1 instead of I Blush

WisestIsShe · 25/09/2019 20:58

If anyone sees another bargain on the magnetic tiles on Amazon please let me know. I'm a childminder and all of my babies love them, they'd make brilliant Christmas presents.

itwaseverthus · 25/09/2019 21:06

@MullberryPeony if you like Dr Botanicals, it's easy to sign up as a tester. After a few days, they contact you with an offer of certain products to buy and test for £5. Often the products are worth £50 plus.

drbotanicals.com/pages/reviewers

Three's also a coupon for a £2 face mask today, usual price £9

Elpheba · 25/09/2019 21:11

@WisestIsShe have I missed an amazon magnetic book bargain?!

tabbycat985 · 25/09/2019 21:16

@buckeejit I'm raging, it says free delivery over £30 on the site so loaded up my basket, over £70 worth & they're still charging £8🙄😡

imsorryiasked · 25/09/2019 21:23

Thanks @MulberryPeony two more xmas pressies crossed off the list from Dr Botanicals

LikeSilver · 25/09/2019 21:25

Those who are after LOL Bubbly Surprises in the Argos sale - keep trying, I’ve just managed to reserve one.

They’ll probably cancel now I’ve typed this 🤦‍♂️

MulberryPeony · 25/09/2019 21:29

@itwaseverthus thanks I’ve signed up so will see what they offer.

Someaddedsugar · 25/09/2019 21:31

@CupoTeap try Keep Cups - I absolutely love mine and you can get them in loads of colours and a couple of different materials - there are also themed ones if you know a Star Wars fan!

MulberryPeony · 25/09/2019 21:35

@CupoTeap sounds like a menstrual cup Confused

@itwaseverthus doh got offered the rose facial oil I bought on offer for the same price last week.

Rosie2000 · 25/09/2019 21:39

Re: LOL surprise at Argos I’ve had the same issue- saying oos when you get to checkout etc. It also didn’t appear in Argos eBay page but o googled it and managed to buy one through that link. The Argos website it’s oos at the store I’ve bought it from so who knows what’s going on! Waiting for a confirmation email now...

Rosie2000 · 25/09/2019 21:39

Lots of typos there but you get the idea!

Rosie2000 · 25/09/2019 21:41

Well that was short lived as they have just cancelled to order...I give up

CatelynStark · 25/09/2019 21:44

Thank you @MulberryPeony for the Dr Botanical code. I’ve just realised that it works on sale items too, so I’ve ordered 11 cleansing bars (originally £14.50 each) for £17.89 delivered Grin
