Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

RJnomore1 · 21/09/2019 21:56

I see someone posted on the last thread about the house of Fraser beauty discount but they’re also doing £50 off £150 spend whochvis a good discount, I’m off for a look round the site.

BlackCat04 · 21/09/2019 22:01

Birchbox has a deal on until the 29th September, buy one box and use code woohoo to get a second different box for free, so £12.95 for 2 boxes including delivery 😊

Barbarara · 21/09/2019 22:01

@EvilHerbivore thanks

NotPennysBoat · 21/09/2019 22:01

Has anyone tried the link for the Radio Times offer posted by @fireflygirl on the last thread? It's coming up at £52 when I try, not sure what I'm doing wrong!

NoWordForFluffy · 21/09/2019 22:03

@NotPennysBoat, try here.

NotPennysBoat · 21/09/2019 22:13

@NoWordForFluffy it worked! Thank you Star

Youvegotafriendinme · 21/09/2019 22:29

HoneyDragon · 21/09/2019 23:03

QOD · 21/09/2019 23:14

QOD · 21/09/2019 23:14

Lovely spotty skin cos we’ll have eaten all the chocolate oranges

SkintSanta · 21/09/2019 23:21

@lifelongfrugaleer it was me with the Tokyo laundry, I’m glad they sorted it out for you! I meant to pop on the other day to say DHs had arrived and was perfect. Very happy with them for the price. He’s away so can’t make him try them for size but looking at them I’m glad I ordered the same as I would with superdry. He isn’t into very fitted clothes 🙄

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 21/09/2019 23:23

Well I think Argos haven't thought it through as the text for the link to this big toy event they are going on about actually says 3for2!!

www.argos.co.uk/events/toys-offers?tag=ar:3for2:closing:toysoffers

Fantababy · 21/09/2019 23:51

Surely not? They were well and truly rumbled in their 3 for 2 last year. It was all over the papers how much they increased prices beforehand.

PaddingtonBearHardStare · 22/09/2019 00:45

Well it's there in black and white unless it's a erm I can't think of the word I want to say (sleep deprived with a 7 week old hence posting at this time!)

SquintEastwood · 22/09/2019 02:05

Argos 3 for 2 deals are awful unless you are buying big ticket items that don't fluctuate in price.

Last year we had put 3 items in basket beforehand and the order was £5 more expensive during the "sale" than it would've been buying them individually!

The only good thing about it is that Amazon and the likes will price match on in single items if you don't need 3.

Toomanytears · 22/09/2019 06:08

These threads are fantastic, thank you. Extra thanks to the pp that mentioned the L'Occitane code, lovely free gift for me and to the poster that sent me free beer Smile

Someone has mentioned Toy Story wrapping paper. Where can I get some from please? I've got some Harry Potter paper from Primark for dc1 and dc3 would love Toy Story.

Theseptemberissues · 22/09/2019 06:32

@toomanytears matalan has toy story 4 Christmas wrapping showing on their website, though currently showing as out of stock.

NoWordForFluffy · 22/09/2019 06:39

The L1 branch didn't have any TS wrapping paper last week. Their Christmas section was rubbish actually.

John Lewis' Christmas section - in store - opens on Friday this week if anyone is interested?

Reastie · 22/09/2019 07:12

Chocolate oranges just aren’t what they used to be imo, all sugar and oil.

OP posts:
Chocolateteabag · 22/09/2019 07:23

Grin can I use that as justification to scoff the 5 oranges I have Reastie?
"No point keeping them for Christmas now!"

Has any one got a referral code or seen an offer for a gin club?
Or is there anyway of getting discounts on ticket master? Thinking gin or comedy are the way to go with DH

Vebrithien · 22/09/2019 07:24

You all have a lot to answer for!
I now have a Christmas planner Grin How did I not know that these existed?

Got the Star Wars light sabre thing from Argos, the Finding Pikachu book and chocolate oranges.

On the look out for; cheapish Lego set, wooden railway things on discount and reduced 3D printer filament. Think I'll have a pop into Sainsbury's to see if they've any Lego.

Barbarara · 22/09/2019 07:27

For Irish bargain hunters: Today is the last day for the Avoca Sale in Kilmacanogue, though tbh I was a little underwhelmed by it this year. I’d hoped to get most of my adult gifts there but barely bought anything.

SandraOhshair · 22/09/2019 07:43

On an earlier thread was there a discussion about a thingy that can be used to print off photos from phones? It had a funny name, any ideas. I think I want one now!

Bluewavescrashing · 22/09/2019 07:43

I'm now considering eating a chocolate orange for breakfast. There's no way the 4 I bought will still be intact in 3 months!
