What have you purchased today for Christmas?

Now that we're well on the way to Christmas I thought we could share what we've purchased in preparation for the big day!

I love writing down what I've bought to keep my mind organized and I also reading what everyone else has bought too for ideas and inspiration.

Today I've bought
Festive cutlery holders
Kids festive pyjamas
Personalised cheese board for my step dad
80 Xmas cards for the kids to give to their class mates
And I also found a festive decorated pouch of dog treats for our dog (doesn't go out of date until Feb 2020 either 😊)in my local supermarket this morning!

@sawyersfishbiscuits They’re so cute! Will have to se did our local store has them - DD would love one!

They had quite a stash of different ones, but I thought the bags were brilliant for the price and big! (Small for a backpack but big for a soft toy if you get me😁)
I was desperately trying to think who else could I buy one for!

Today I bought wrapping paper, choc santas and choc coins, and choc Advent calendars [santa]

A Ryan's world giant mystery egg... I already know it's a lot of plastic tat (thankfully it's the playset version) but I also know it's going to feature massively on DS2s list.. £49.99!! But used a code from the Entertainer so £10 off that. I don't even want to think what I've spent on these toys this year.

Yesterday: Madness biography Before We Was We for my uncle. Today: truffles and Florentines from Aldi.

Just really cute paper napkins in the shape of a gingerbread house. I’m pretty much done with my Christmas shopping. Just two presents for people who’ll be at Christmas dinner (one I’ve never met).

Pringles as they were on special offer and kids advent calendars.

Xmas Star Wars socks for dh. Kids are making an advent calendar for him so thought these would be good.

2 boxes of chocolate-enrobed dates, apricots and nuts from Morrisons.

Bought two boxes of matchsticks this morning (mint and orange) for £1 each.

Ate them both this afternoon.

Purshaed various body shop gift sets for Mother, MIL, step mother and aunt, buzz Lightyear egg cup and toast stamper and Harry Potter egg cup and toast cutter and street magic tricks and horrible magic tricks for ds1 and ds2

Apparently Morrisons have a Litre of Baileys for £10

I bought a bundle of jigsaw puzzles for my friend's daughter.

I also went crazy on the George website:

• a night dress which buttons down for pregnant planning to breast feed friend
• a couple of jumpers friend's son
• a penguin oil burner for my sister

Scrabble for dd. Ds9 wants a dictionary, so got him one. I also bought bath bombs for sil.

Morrisons had lots of offers on Christmas treats so added two boxes of biscuits, chocolate oranges, after eight mints and few other bits to the treat box.

Just noticed Dunelm have some lovely Christmas/Winter bedding and lots at reasonable prices [santa]

Ordered a few things online from Very 30% off selected toys so quite happy as I've compared prices and saved money . I've got my dn a couple of things and my ds .
I don't have too much to get now so pleased .

Aldi again - 2 bags of cashews, Violet Creams and Pink Gin Creams (a new thing!) Treat hamper is now full!

Also, 2 presents: Betty's Sloe Gin fruit cake for SIL (thanks to whoever suggested that on another thread ) and the book My Friend Anna about the fake heiress scammer for my aunt. I'm not done yet, but not far off!

I've been to Boots for the points event with my advantage card vouchers, I bought aftershave for DP which was gift boxed and reduced by £10, it came with a free Dior wash bag and mini aftershave (which I'll wrap as a separate present) I used a £5 off fragrance voucher and got £10 in points for spending more than £50 in one transaction, so effectively £25 off and a free wash bag and mini bottle of aftershave. Very happy with that transaction.

I bought the rest of DPs stocking fillers and got double points.

I've got enough Boots points to buy at least two Christmas presents, and might manage 3 if they have three things I want in the 3 for 2 section, I need a box of chocolates and a tin of biscuits so I can probably get smellies for DD as the freebie.
