I've been thinking about my uni search 70 and I feel a bit bad. I'm from South Wales and looked at unis far away from home. I settled on one around 90mins away as it did the course I wanted but it never even occurred to me stay at home. Not sure why, I just couldn't wait to get out on my own. Feels like madness when I look back - things would have been a lot easier if I'd stayed home and saved some money up while I studied rather than working 2 jobs to pay my bills 🙄

The heavens opened here about 30 mins ago. The whole atmosphere changed, it was like everything started breathing again (sorry, bit poetical but not sure how else to explain) and now there is the rain smell 🌷 🌲

Just catching up.

I love drag race. I went to see Bianca Del Rio last year. The "jokes" though were so offensive we actually walked out before the end.

It's a day for the ducks here. It hasn't stopped since last night. But we had a good result this morning in the rugby so all is good.

We had rain, sun, rain and now sun!

I'm so hungry. I scavenged 2 big strawberries and a few raspberries for lunch at the allotment, but didn't have anything else. I started digging the new plot. It's so bloody rooty. It'll take loads of digging.

We aren't really big TV watchers, in fairness. We have it on, but don't often pay huge amounts of attention to it!

Afternoon everyone
I have had a night/day of it , Dh woke at 1.15 am with a bad attack of Atrial fibrillation. I got him his Flecanide but it took 7 hours for the drugs to work. We had a bad night . No sooner did it finish then l had to go to Mum's to sort her out . I left Dh here under the care of the 2 DD'S while l saw to Mum. They all watched the rugger together , l am so relieved to tell you he is fine now but it is so upsetting when it is happening

Fluffy we just watch crap, I must admit. Usually on weekends when we can’t sleep we’ll find the rubbish shows on Netflix and get hooked.

Mrs I’m so sorry about your DH. I hope tonight is easier for you and you manage to get some rest.

It’s a good job I didn’t go out today, I’m in agony with cramps and back pain. There’s no way I would’ve made it in the car.

Job application done. There's nothing more I could have done really.

Mrs, I'm glad your DH is OK now. Is medication the only way to control it, or is there a surgical option?

Am glad because it's my little girl l nursed Funeral after seeing to Mum. Will tell you about it after. Her Mum has planned a celebration of her life , a Disney extravaganza she told me, bless her heart ❤️

Morning all.
On the train to work after surprisingly getting about 5 hours sleep (“d”H managed to wake me suddenly just after I’d hit deep sleep at 10, so I was awake until after 2 instead! 😡). But it is sunny - ahead of a week of rain here. So that’s cheering me up. And the fact that Alicante has a warm and sunny forecast (3 nights there later this week, for work - so any ideas for Christmas shopping in the couple of hours I have Saturday morning before the airport are welcome as I’ve never been there before).

Finally finished the form for internal job last night (sounds like procrastination but I had Cubs Saturday morning, a training course Saturday afternoon and all day yesterday and organizing the sailing training to be done too).

But as well as work things, I am bringing my cards and a X-st project on my trip. So things will make progress. Even if the HGp is completely set aside so far this year!

Ooo we flew back from Alicante recently. They have quite a few shops in the city centre which is only a ten minute drive from the airport. Didn't go for shopping though I'm afraid, we did pop into Zara though because dd loves it. Prices on par with here though.
