We went out yesterday. My head hurts. Shhhhhhh! 😂

Good luck with the job applications Wreck and Biddy. Where are you off to Biddy? I'm currently in Vienna. It is stunning. Palaces everywhere. Cake everywhere. And I'm off to find another Christmas shop tomorrow. Apparently there are three - I'm not greedy - one will do. 😂

Crazy I pinned my snowflakes out on a thick towel, sprayed with starch to thoroughly soak them and then just left them to dry. I have rust proof pins with glass heads that I use for blocking. Are you going to Yarndale next week? My SIL has a ticket for me if I want to go. I haven't been to Skipton since I was a teenager but my SIL is good company and there will be yarn. And cake probably.

It's not really bothering me. And I'm not blind yet! I'll call 111 in the morning if it's still wonky! I don't pay for prescriptions at the moment, so can get whatever I need without paying.

I haven't been online at all today till now, been so busy with Mumsy
Went up early to get her showered and dressed before the District Nurse came. Cleaned the house and sorted her out , DN came , Mum's legs are fine hooray! It was her friends birthday and she hadn't posted his card, he phoned her up and said where is my card , he was laughing bless him , so we took him cards and a pressie . Then we did her shopping in Mr T's, came back and put it all away, put the washing out and came home ......phew!

Mrs It sounds like your mum had a good day today. I love GBBO, I have to watch it when I’m having tea though otherwise I end up raiding the fridge!.

DP and I went to see my DM and DSD at the pub today, we had a lovely meal and a great time. But a fight started with some young lads so we had to head home. It’s not like it’s a proper drinkers pub either, it’s a sizzling pub, so a family pub. There were kids there and everything.

Morning.

I woke up stupid early. Sigh. No idea what's wrong with me when I could still be asleep!

It's not a typical-looking stye, if it is. They're nearer the edge of the eye in my experience and this is definitely on the lid, not the edge. I rubbed tea tree oil on it last night (it stung!) and it's gone down a bit overnight. I think it looks more bite-like now it's not so swollen. I'll keep an eye on it (ha ha!). I think we still have medicated cream from when the kids had conjunctivitis, so I'll use that too if we do.

It's meant to be lovely today. 😁

It's meant to hit 24 degrees here today but then drop to 19 tomorrow and then rain solidly for days so I am emptying the washing basket today!

Our washing got darked on overnight, Emrys! We have similar weather forecast.

I had two loads out over night fluffy and will do another two today. That should get on top of it all :)

The food festival is here this weekend , it will be manic in Town . It's great the weather is so good. Everyone will enjoy the sunshine and the stalls 😁

24 degrees here, then will rain for the rest of the week. I wish I could say I wasn’t happy, but I love the autumn mornings. I had a rubbish sleep last night, woke up with acid reflex and cramps in my back. So I’m shattered and grouchy now, poor DP’s getting it in the neck😂. If it turns out to be as lovely as they say it will be we’ll probably go into town and have a nice meal outside.

The bank holiday weekend in August saw almost everybody get eaten alive round our way. No idea what went on!

Fluffy it was the same here, it was boiling then too so everyone was in the beer gardens and they all came home covered in bites.

26 July. The morning we went on holiday!

Fluffy they’re incredible! DH wants to plant some things today. He got into gardening when we played the sims😂

Weather is lovely here. Really windy but sunny. I got 2 loads of washing done and in the line before 9. I think I'll put my Christmas bedding on for a wash, even it it'll just sit in the hot press for a couple of months.

Anyone get to the next sale? I took a migraine this morning so couldn't go. Probably a good thing as id just buy random things I don't need.

I shopped online, Neros. I got everything I needed plus stuff I didn't! so didn't bother going to a store. I paid for a year's unlimited delivery, so it all appears on my doorstep without having to face a shop!

I've made gingerbread men / shapes with DS this afternoon and I'm now roasting homegrown tomatoes with homegrown herbs to whizz into sauce. 😋

DS is browsing the Smyths' catalogue and doing a list for Santa. 🎅🏻

It's glorious here. Was breezy earlier but not now. 25°. Haven't done much apart from washing and sit in the garden! My sunflowers look even taller today. Relaxing in the garden is hard when all I can hear in my neighbour ranting at her kids

Neros I managed to get some bits and bobs for the baby and his nursery. We ventured into town though so I went a bit overboard on things for him!.
