We went out yesterday. My head hurts. Shhhhhhh! 😂

We've had sun and blue skies over the weekend , good washing and gardening weather .

Crazy did the countdown just after midnight!

I've been on the cross stitch again! It's coming on nicely (no thanks to the numerous mistakes / unpicking I've had to do this weekend!).

Bed now; tiring weekend!

Morning! It's early. And dark. It may have stopped raining though. Perhaps!

It is dark but I've been boiling all night and still am!

Walked to work in the dark but it was very balmy.

It's chilly pom pom here! I'm considering putting my emergency tights on at work (I keep them in my drawer in case a client shows up unexpectedly in summer!).

I think it rained most of the night as it's rather wet on the ground. The sun is trying to get through though.

I had frost on the car this morning, but it's dry. Just a nice nip in the air.

frost! I'm jealous! Slept in just my knickers last night as dh won't let me open any windows in case spiders come in 🙄😅

It's definitely not that warm up our way!

He's ridiculous it drives me mad! He doesn't mind them being open in the day but is convinced they come in at night when it gets cooler

It tipped it down on the way home and my washing is soaked

Wreck, spiders aren't discerning when it comes to the time of day, you know?! 😂

Dh says they come in when it gets cold 🙄 he drives me mad 😅

They don't bother me or DH, so at the moment we have an average of 3 per room downstairs and in the bathrooms. I leave them to it until I get sick of cleaning up the spider poo, then I chuck them back outside.

We don't have any in the bedrooms, interestingly, and our windows are wide open

I saw a meme somewhere about this being the time of year where you put a cardigan on in the morning to carry around in the afternoon.

I'm enjoying the still warm days though - they're giving my tomatoes chance to ripen!!

I think we're slightly more northerly than you, Fluffy. Yours must just be the cold side of the country!

Morning!

I don't think I've ever noticed spider poo. What am I looking for?!?! 💩🕷

We let the spindly ones stay as they scare the big hairy ones off (they eat them if they hang about!). I've no idea how many we have, though they mostly prefer downstairs!

I woke needing a wee 45 minutes before my alarm and haven't managed to go back to sleep. Annoying.

I left it out :) Hopefully will be dry when I get home from work.

Ds catches spiders and lets them out but dh always squashes them. He broke our sofa doing it once I'm not too bothered by them really I grew up in an old cottage. We have fewer since getting the cat.

Meant to be another nice day here and 24° on Saturday!

I'm going to be trying to get the strictly tickets for DD's Christmas present this morning wish me luck!

It's a rare event if we see a spider in our house. DCats see to that. If we manage to save one we just put it outside.

We don't see big ones.

The weather looks lovely for the rest of the week. Finally the Indian summer!

We got a new - to us - car yesterday; a Volvo V50. It's a 59 plate but only has 80k miles on it. Should keep us going for a good while!

Spider poo is little orange/brown blobs under their webs. Most obvious on white windowsills!

We have 2 DCats, but they either don't bother with the spiders, or else the spiders are too smart to come down out of the corners!
