Morning!

We went out yesterday. My head hurts. Shhhhhhh! 😂

Oooh we are so nearly out of the hundreds and into double figures

I'm loving the change in seasons, my garden looks more 'red' now couple of my plants do the transitional green-to-red .

I have a busy few weeks ahead-
hospital appointment (for me)
dentist (for me)
University Open Day (for DD , I'm going with her)
Getting DS galvanised to get back to University

DH and I are going away, I need a couple of holiday things and some Body Prep: haircut, hair dye, wax/epilate , paint my toes nails

Still buying things for DD Beauty advent , then I'll look at Christmas Presents in November . ( DS wants a guitar . His B/Day is December so it might be a combined B/Day +Christmas depending on price)
DD will tell me exactly what she wants
DH just orders something from Amazon and I do the QVC/M&S
So , hopefully not too much hassle .

Which leaves loads of time to browse aimlessly , tidy up, get some declutttering done and whinge a lot at work.

I think I've been quite productive for Saturday morning - I've done one load of washing, cleaned the kitchen, emptied dishwasher, walked the dogs and finished my crochet snowflake.
Am sitting down for a cuppa in my Christmas mug and watching the last 10 mins of episode 1 of Bake off - I've been trying to watch it for the last few days.

Plan for today - Out for breakfast, quiet craft day with a bit of housework thrown in then going to a wedding evening so tonight.

I’m sorry to hear about your mum Mrs, I hope the visit to your niece went well. How is she?

Biddy I love shepherds pie and all the autumn dinners. I just love comfort food.

Fluffy it must just be the start of school, DD is usually in a really good routine but it’s been up in the air since she went back. I’m hoping everything is back to normal by October half term.

Emrys I hope you find your cat. Mine used to go missing a lot but she would always turn up.

It wasn’t warm at all here yesterday. I went out at lunch time and it was sunny but still quite chilly. It’s cold again this morning, sun is out but you’d have to wear a jacket. I love days like this, the autumn and spring are my favourite seasons. They’re very similar I think.

We’re just leaving for the BCLM, DD loves it here and when you pay once you get a whole year free so we come as much as possible. We love the chips too. We’re also going for a walk up the woods this evening!.

Lovely snowflakes Crazy. Are you making them all the same or are you changing your pattern? The Attic24 ones are easy to make and look lovely when they're blocked. I've got a tin of spray starch at the back of the utility room cupboard that I bought to stiffen some snowflakes I made.

I think today will be our last really warm day. I've got DS's uniform washed and out to dry. I'd forgotten the hassle of turning clean uniform around each weekend. Not looking forward to the damp weather and my sun room looking like Widow Twanky's Laundry every weekend.

Woolly, I'm thinking that there won't be much more warm weather. But we have the benefit of the coastal breeze, so can dry all year if the weather is dry.

I also cleaned our kitchen this morning. I do it better than DH, so try to do at least every 1 in 3 because of that!

We've sorted out the Christmas presents and know what else we need to finish off. We'll buy one gift each from their list when it's done and then we're finished bar two colouring books.

I've got a load of stuff listed to sell on Facebook and we've tidied our food stash too. We are definitely well-stocked for Christmas!

Crazy I was at a wedding yesterday that I didn't want to go to either. I had a couple of brandy's and all was good.

I never drink brandy but it made me feel in the Christmas spirit.

Can't believe we are nearly at the 100 mark. I really need to get a skates on. The house needs at least 2 deep cleans before the big day.

Got the Aldi special buys inside a newspaper this morning. If it's the same special buys in the UK, there are a lot of craft items on there.

I don't seem to get invited to weddings. I don't mind! 😂😂

The weather was gorgeous here yesterday. But it’s cloudy here now. I hope it’s the end of the sunny weather, I’m so confused with what to wear. I always leave the house with a jumper on and then it’s too hot by lunchtime.

Cloudy here too. I need to go and do some clearing at the allotment today. The green beans and sweetcorn are done so need pulling out. We need parsnips for dinner and lettuce for sandwiches and there is bound to be beans and courgettes to pick too. Plus raspberries and tomatoes.

Oh, Crazy, I bet you're remembering whet happened with far more clarity than the person you spoke with.

Fluffy I love the idea of picking the food I'm going to eat for the next meal. DHs grandad does it when we go to visit and it makes everything taste nicer - I eat veg there that I don't really like and wouldn't eat at home.

Been busy with Mum and totally exhausted tbh , am trying to come off the 1 Gabapentin l take at night . l am getting there slowly . It will be my third night tonight , fingers crossed

Fluffy that is not good , how very dare the skies do that to you!

I ended up jet washing the paving this afternoon. We have a surprisingly large amount of it front and back (because of the side return). Thankfully the proper rain held off until I'd finished. It's quite handy that it is raining though, as it'll clean any excess muck off.

At least I can tick that job off the list!

Emrys that’s gorgeous!!. It was warm but cloudy here today. It’s meant to rain over night and be cloudy tomorrow and cooler.

Crazy DD loves it!. They have a school there and you get an old fashioned lesson and they have a sweet shop and their famous chip shop and a fair. We go all the time.

It was absolute mayhem today. I’m the eldest of the GC, and DC are the first GGC. So all the attention is on us really and I don’t care for it much. My aunts and uncles seem to see me as their childminder whenever we go for Sunday lunch because my cousins want to see the baby and play with him. I’m trying to bite my tongue and not say anything in the GC as everyone’s joking about what a lovely day it was having a break from the kids. Whereas I haven’t had a break in months.
