Afternoon!

In the absence of @SideOrderofChips (I hope you don't mind me jumping in, Chips Flowers ), here's the first bargain prequel thread of this year.

Use this thread to post any bargains you may have until @Reastie comes back in a few months' time! Xmas Grin

Thanks Filthy, there's a Clintons near my work that I'll check out tomorrow. Rotten behaviour from them cycling the stuff though.

@Battenburg1978 Sylvanian families cosy cottage is on Amazon at the moment for £15.99 - its an excellent starter set.
No the cheapest it’s been but a good price imo.

Thanks Nearly, I will take a look - that's a great price! DP will kill me hoarding Christmas stuff already while we're decluttering 😂😂😂

I loooove these threads but DD is nearly 10 this Xmas, and last year decided to change her mind about what her big present should be, so this year won't feel safe for stocking up too far in advance!! Am unreasonably miffed about that as she has always been set in her ways before so I have saved thousands over the years by buying in August/September!!

The Highway Rat paperback is £2.93 on amazon

Thanks hoopdeloop - irds actually included in the 2 for £7 promotion. Searching for other books included in the offer brings up several books costing £10 each so a very good saving.

Office Outlet is closing down and has some bargains - plenty of craft stuff (felt, felt shapes, polystyrene balls, face paints, stickers, pompoms etc), mine had some craft kits, plus I got mini sharpies with a metal triangle through the lid so you can attach them to a bag or key chain for 29p, my first crayons 89p, my first colour pencils £1.50 (both of these say 2+ on the pack and are chunky, I don't know much about kids so perfectly possible I've been swindled!). They also have full size sharpies including ones for writing on material, post its etc and also their filofaxes are 60% off. Oh and slightly randomly vaseline lip therapy for 40p. They have things like portable power banks too.

From what I can tell the prices now range from good to fair, most things seem to be cheaper than I could quickly find online, which wasn't the case up until now. Not so cheap that you ought to drive miles though, but if you have one nearby probably worth a look.

Oh, and the whole reason I started that post was to say mine also stocks Kikki K and I think that range was all 50% off, they had pens and notebook type things.

There's a fair few places doing cracking prices on Lego City stuff at the moment (I'm guessing one started and they all joined in!).

Smyths, Argos, John Lewis and Very all have big reductions.

Aldi had lots of jigsaw puzzle books-5 jigsaws in a book reduced to £1.99, had avengers, Minnie Mouse, my little pony and Disney princesses. Actually they had lots of good things, I also got one of the ‘hoppers’ for £8.99 they had loads of animals to choose from-maybe better in the summer, but good for parties/birthdays. Also Claire’s have 30% off lots of things, and another 50% off rainbow/unicorn things with CHASEDREAMS which stacks, so some bargains, if rainbows and unicorns are still ok?

Imsorryiasked thank you for the baby born tip, reserved to collect tommorow. Fab price and perfect for my granddaughters 3rd birthday!
Some good limited time deals on Amazon (though they didnt show on my lighting deals list)
My fairy garden £10.99 ( best price I've seen)
Barbie Chelsea doll and bed set 8.99 was £18
Mellissa and Doug crowns/tiaras set £7.66 was 9.99
Lots of M&Doug stuff like medical dress up and and stamp sets. Apologies I don't know how to post links. I've just had my annual bonus (not much but £300 better off) so I traditionally try to do most of my shopping in June/July. I'm off to check out any other offers in Argos. It will be Christmas in July time before we know it.
