Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

We bought Le Creuset pans for our induction hob. Expensive and heavy but 6 years on they still look brand new. I bought from outlet shops and amazon and harts of stur and wherever had them on offer.

IJustWantToWearDungarees · 14/12/2018 14:59

Just got my Accessorize poncho and it is gorgeous! Thanks for the tip off!

MerryTwinkletoes · 14/12/2018 15:11

Thanks for the towels at landsend tip! I got a bundle of 2 each of bath towels, hand towels and face towels for £18 delivered, bargain!

GruffaloStick · 14/12/2018 15:22

threesocks I bought some Stellar pans on recommendation from another MN poster and they are fab! Induction hob and they have a lifetime guarantee, also dishwasher safe

MyArris · 14/12/2018 15:43

That was a strange delivery from Accesorize. My despatch email said it would be my bag, 2 pairs of earrings and a scarf but only the bag was delivered. 😕

nugget18 · 14/12/2018 16:16

I've been on live chat today to locate my red bubble order. I was told it would arrive by 17th, but I got it 30 mins after going on chat.
Hopefully yours will arrive soon.

Christmas jumpers 25% off in Tescos. I only looked at the women’s but assume it’s for all.

ShesABelter · 14/12/2018 16:58

Anyone with teen daughters recommend a shaver I can get for my 14 year old or even one someone uses themselves. I just use a disposable but she is costing me a fortune in disposables so looking for a reusable method.

Poopsie surprise is reduced on Very.

@recklessgran could you link me to the bath sheets please?

TheBaltictriangle · 14/12/2018 17:05

I got my elemis hand wash today, very pleased with the quick turn around time. I ordered it late Wednesday night and it arrived thid morning via dpd.

Threesocks · 14/12/2018 17:16

Thanks for the pan recommendations. Stellar pans are on offer on amazon at the moment, so think I will go for them as the reviews seem excellent!

Elphaba17 · 14/12/2018 17:17

she'sabelter would she consider an epilator instead? I've always used the braun silk epil range, and they come with a shaver attachment as well so you have both options.

GruffaloStick · 14/12/2018 17:23

Try Harts of Stur too for Stellar pans, mine wete cheaper on there than amazon when I ordered. Think mine are the 7000 ones, the handles can get a little hot, that's the only negative. They wash and cook beautifully, so much more responsive on the induction hob than my last pans

TittyBoneGhoul · 14/12/2018 17:23

@Elphaba17
Nooo epilators are the devils device of torture, I would rather be a hairy beast

CheekyFucker · 14/12/2018 18:04

So annoyed about the nails inc crackers - they have only just emailed me to say they cannot fulfil the offer!
Has anyone got the alternatives? Is there anything else we can do?

ShesABelter · 14/12/2018 18:07

@Elphaba17 no she defo wouldn't she's the biggest drama queen with the lowest pain threshold so that wouldn't be a good idea for my sanity as I'd never hear the end of it 😂

RemyRelax · 14/12/2018 18:12

@TittyBoneGhoul Thank you, have ordered the carriage. Excellent price.

recklessgran · 14/12/2018 18:14

@TalkingOrmer Sorry but it looks as though the bath sheets have been pulled on Lands End. Only a Supima towel bale is showing now which is 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels and 2 face cloths for £30 which would be £15 with the code - really not the same though.

TalkingOrmer · 14/12/2018 18:25

@RecklessGran thanks anyway

PunkAssMoFo · 14/12/2018 18:33

@cheeky fucker There are a few sets of six or so nail varnishes that you can see the colours of. They are the same price as the crackers, but come unpackaged. I have bought some to put in ‘make your own crackers’ and gift sets that I have made up.

CheekyFucker · 14/12/2018 18:38

@PunkAssMoFo thank you for the link. I usually make crackers. I thought I was going to get a year off from that fuss.

Drummingisfun · 14/12/2018 18:52

I have finally finished DH.
Ds is done.
DD is part done but still need two more things for her from the inlaws - they are sending the money.
DSis and BIL have nothing at all yet!

sunshineNdaisies · 14/12/2018 18:53

I'm raging but its probably my own fault. I ordered something for DNephew off amazon. I ordered before I realised it came from china, however it arrived today so no issue with timing, but its ridiculously small AND its broken. It cost more than it should have when looking at it but I don't think I'll get a refund.

I need to get DNephew something else now and it needs to be something big and something that doesn't look cheap although it needs to be cheap as I have already exceeded my budget.

Any big / cheap ideas for a 5 year old who is into superheros and pokemon and computer games? He has the new nitendo thingie and an xbox. He has pokemon computer games already.

I really need to get something asap but ideally online due to remoteness here in Scotland.

ShoppingBasket · 14/12/2018 18:56

@Antichoosingausername what about a secrid wallet? Just bought my dad one and great for travelling and useful gift!
