Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

ihope I've had a few really nice pashminas from eBay. They are around a fiver and come in loads of colours. The nicest are turkish cashmere/cotton mix, they even wash well and are really warm (i use mine as a blanket on flights)

PersisFord · 12/12/2018 08:52

Ho ho ho Christmas people. Please can i pick some brains? People still not bought for:

5 year old girl - wants “a baby doll I can dress and undress”. I’ve looked and looked and they all look really plasticy and awful (and expensive)

6 year old girl who likes craft - budget about £10. Request from her Mum for a craft kit rather than just raw materials. I have bought her previously loads of Melissa and Doug type things, scratchy pictures....I was wondering about Fimo (remember from my childhood!) but I can’t find an interesting, inexpensive set....

6 year old boy - loves transformers, reading, animals. Budget about £10. I buy him SO MANY books, I’d really like something different!

Thank you and lots of Christmas glitter to you all!

Thanks for the accessorize link and code. Just found a perfect scarf for my niece to finish off her Xmas present.

There are ponchos reduced to 6.40 before the code too.

Rockhopper81 · 12/12/2018 08:56

The scarves of Accessorize were listed as £6.40 on their page (not search page, as others have said), then were £16 in my basket?! Does it just not like me...??

Elphaba17 · 12/12/2018 08:59

rockhopper it's an odd site, I found putting scarf in the search bar brought up a selection at full price but reduced in the basket. Whereas selecting scarfs from the drop down menu showing the reduced prices without needing to add to basket. Not everything is reduced that low so it could maybe you've selected something without such a heavy reduction?

Jfw82 · 12/12/2018 09:01

I think the accessorize scarf prices might have been an error - I was considering the rainbow scarf earlier and had it up price as £6 having followed same link again it's now £16

GruffaloStick · 12/12/2018 09:12

I'm wondering if accessorize was an error too. It let me check out at bargain prices but I went back to link a suggestion on this thread and they're back up £16+

Elphaba17 · 12/12/2018 09:12

The ponchos are still reduced. I've just twitched and bought 2.

IJustWantToWearDungarees · 12/12/2018 09:16

Does anyone have a White Stuff code at all please? Had one on a leaflet but I think I threw it away. 🙁

HeadsDownThumbsUpEveryone · 12/12/2018 09:18

The scarves are coming up at £16 for me too, knew I shouldn't have cleaned the kitchen before checking out todays bargains.

shumway · 12/12/2018 09:30

Thanks for the Accessorize tip. Got a poncho for my sister for £5.12.

Yeknom · 12/12/2018 09:36

Gaaah! Didn't have time to checkout the scarves before the school run and now they're back to £16. :(

HeadsDownThumbsUpEveryone · 12/12/2018 09:53

Oww which Poncho did you get, does it still work on them?

HoratioCaine · 12/12/2018 09:53

PersisFord for the 6 year old girl, type SES into Toys and Games section on Amazon, there are some great craft type kits in there for around about your budget.

Jfw82 · 12/12/2018 09:54

Ponchos still on if you bring up scarves and ponchos and sort price low to high you can see the ones for £6.40 at top

Duckswaddle · 12/12/2018 09:54

Amazing accessorize tip, just got my mom a poncho for a fiver!

HeadsDownThumbsUpEveryone · 12/12/2018 09:59

Thanks for the Poncho help, I've just brought myself one as a gift from the cats... Grin

Notlongnow1 · 12/12/2018 10:10

Ponchos and snoods still working 👍🏻

ChristmasDaydreams · 12/12/2018 10:11

@HeadsDown I love that the cats buy you presents!! 😻

BobDobbs · 12/12/2018 10:16

Thanks for the accessorise tip - just ordered a scarf for my sister. I am very broke at the moment but wanted to get her something nice so it will be perfect. I didn't see the code until after I ordered but still a bargain. Free delivery to store as well.

HeadsDownThumbsUpEveryone · 12/12/2018 10:22

I love that the cats buy you presents!!

It sounds better than saying you brought it for yourself. Xmas Wink The best thing is we have 2 cats so maybe I need to buy myself something else so they each get me a gift...

ChristmasDaydreams · 12/12/2018 10:29

Yes definitely a gift from each cat!! And then maybe they can treat you again in the January sales.......a gift from each to say thank you for a lovely Christmas! 😹

HalfBloodPrincess · 12/12/2018 10:41

Anyone got a dr who fan?

Sports direct have these trainers on special offer - they’re not dr who as such but the style and colour of them look like the new doctors T-shirt! An awesome bargain too!

PersisFord · 12/12/2018 10:44

Thanks Horatio!

RedBlu · 12/12/2018 10:50

Anyone know if it's possible to get a "waffle the wonder dog" from anywhere other than eBay? They retail at £16.99 but are out of stock until after Christmas so are selling for £40 on eBay
