Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it [thanks

Ah sorry! It’s GINPALS15 but unfortunately can’t be used with other codes :(

WaitWhatOh · 07/12/2018 23:21

In search of very bargainous Christmas bedding please. Double bed size. Any ideas?

RaspberryFlump · 07/12/2018 23:31

The body shop code I received was 19805

Drummingisfun · 07/12/2018 23:36

@personwithnoname

You could do with finding out if he likes single malt, blends, irish, bourbon... And if scotch, highland, islay or speyside.
Can you get a peek at what he's got now for clues?
If he likes speyside the Glen Grant 10 year old is decent and usually under £30. Amazon had it for less recently so worth looking around.

MissesBloom · 07/12/2018 23:37

Have just seen LOL bigger surprise, the biggest surprise box for £68 on amazon (usually £85)
L.O.L. Surprise! Bigger Surprise! www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07BHQ81XG/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_3pWcCb6GEQR29?tag=mumsnetforum-21

Hard to see it as barginous as essentially its just plastic tat but dd LOVES it, and will scream when she sees hers. I've never seen it for cheaper than this anyway so I've just bought one.

BookMeOnTheSudExpress · 07/12/2018 23:53

My Yankee giftset arrived today, it's massive, and in a lovely box. Still half price on Amazon at £30. The big jar alone retails at over £20 and you get that, a little jar, 4 votives and a couple of accessories.
Allbeauty have 50% off loads of stuff, and if you spend £68 you can use MAXMAS to get a random selection of £40 worth of Max Factor stuff. I placed 2 orders so have 2 MF sets coming.

MissesBloom · 08/12/2018 00:08

Oh and just ordered two personalised santa sacks from the place mentioned a few threads back santasacks.com and got each one for £5 ish! Cheap as chips Xmas Wink

FrederickCreeding · 08/12/2018 07:14

There's 15% off selected Lego sets at John Lewis.

Also Hobbycraft have a deal where if you spend £35 and pay using Amazon pay they give you a £5 Hobbycraft voucher. Delivery is free for orders over £20 anyway and they also have 3 for 2 on a number of kids gifts too.

My order arrived yesterday and I'm really pleased. I got a birthday present for a party the dc are off too, plus a number of stocking filler type gifts and some other presents too.

RJnomore1 · 08/12/2018 07:42

Ok so my younger dd who has never shown any interest in makeup at ALL has just announced she only wants three things for Xmas:

Tickets to Leeds festival which we already have and she knows and are not for Xmas
Some k pop cd she once mentioned in passing -£25!! On amazon
And the Jeffree Starr blood orange eye palette. Which appears to be sold out on beauty bay the only uk stockist. Can buy direct from US website but it's £50 - anyone any cheaper ideas as I've already bought her everything. Not eBay though please.

RJnomore1 · 08/12/2018 07:55

Never mind, the us site seems to be the only place it's in stock so I've just ordered. Overpriced cd next...

Hopskipjumping · 08/12/2018 08:00

Any suggestions for my dad. Hes 60, semi retired likes going out every weekend to pub, alcohol, karaoke, badminton.

He has a karaoke machine and asked for trainers, sports bag, badminton racket all of which have been taken as ideas by my sisters.

He has a wife and both enjoy a comfortable lifestyle. They go away for a weekend at least once a month and holidays a few times a year.

Im stuck!

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 08/12/2018 08:11

hopski how about a new weekend travel bag? Or vouchers for a company they can book a weekend away with? Maybe a kindle if he enjoys reading and travels alot?

Goldenphoenix · 08/12/2018 08:13

Ginpals15 works great on the £40 offer. Chin chin! Thanks for posting, it looks great

Goldenphoenix · 08/12/2018 08:14

Sorry should have said, the Craft Gin Club offer (not pissed already, honest)

sherbertdibdab · 08/12/2018 08:26

@Goldenpheonix did you get GINPALS15 to stack with the FREETREAT code? I can't enter a second code after putting the first one in.

Goldenphoenix · 08/12/2018 08:29

Ah poo, didn't realise I had done myself out of my free gin. Damn. No, didn't try and stack them.

andadietcoke · 08/12/2018 08:37

The LOL confetti pop two pack is back in stock on amazon for £20.99 for whoever wanted it.

BWatchWatcher · 08/12/2018 08:44

Agh sorry@GoldenPhoenix! I was hoping Ginpals15 and the free gin offer would stack :( The December box is a steal at 25 if that helps?

BWatchWatcher · 08/12/2018 08:44

(I’m afraid I was pissed)

ecofreckle · 08/12/2018 08:50

@nowayback when I woke up this morning Amazon sent me an alert that there was a whiskey on a lightening deal, or some other deal, I didn't pay attention as it's gin I'm interested in. Might we path having a root around there.

I'm still after a size 16 ankle length dressing gown for my MIL. Any ideas anyone please?

dizzygirl1 · 08/12/2018 08:52

I'm still debating about getting a December gin club box... What is actually included? What size is the bottle of gin?

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 08/12/2018 09:10

dizzygirl1 they are full sized bottles of gin, unusual ones. You usually get a couple of rarer tonic waters (individual bottles) plus a sweet snack and a savoury snack or two. Plus a little gin mag of ideas and info

BrightonBB · 08/12/2018 09:14

Hopski - how about a Good Pub Guide or you can often find walking books with short circular walks starting from pubs. Tour of a brewery.

asuwere · 08/12/2018 09:14

Not a bargain as such but I've got 3 codes, each for a 7 day Xbox game pass. Only works on Xbox one and we have a 360. They are stackable but all expire on 31st December. Hopefully someone will get use of them, enter code at xbox.com/redeemcode
