Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it [thanks

dailymail my dd in year 5 (10) got a Harry potter satchel from primark for her birthday. Good quality and she feels v grown up. Think I paid about £5 in the sale but normally bags are about £12.

BrightonBB · 07/12/2018 16:33

Hopefully that link shows the more expensive Pop Up book though I got mine from Amazon. Mine has arrived and it is an amazing book - in fact it might be too good for the kids - they can look at it under supervision.

rubyred38 · 07/12/2018 16:42

That Harry Potter one is amazing we have it link here it's £32 though I don't think was far off that price when we bought I've never seen it for £13

AHintOfStyle · 07/12/2018 16:53

@flooredbored Thanks for the Brownie doll heads up! That is officially the last thing I am buying!

friskybivalves · 07/12/2018 17:01

Margaritasbythesea there were Bluetooth headphones on Amazon deals of the day earlier - waterproof and a decent price. In/ear ones though so depends if you like that style.

I am looking at hoarding in the rear view mirror - I try to throw things out, but I just can’t bring myself to do it! Hence I have loads of crap. Blush

Elphaba17 · 07/12/2018 17:24

I ordered the nails inc crackers that have 3 in them too, preferred them to the mystery ones as it would be just my luck that the colours in them wouldn't be nice.

1stMrsF · 07/12/2018 17:31

It's worth looking for the Harry Potter pop up tomorrow. I got it for £22 last Saturday, which is when I posted it here, because I'd noticed on camelcamelcamel that it had been reduced every Saturday for several weeks.

QOD · 07/12/2018 17:34

Think the nails inc vip crackers add all gone 😢

yumyumpoppycat · 07/12/2018 17:51

rock - I know - big little piles of stuff have a habit of building up on ends of tables, side of my bed etc. I almost folded the box for recycling when that little voice said to me ' but it might come in useful...' That's it I am going to recycle the box goddamit!

elphaba - I'm not sure I like pot luck either. I over ordered quite a few of those little bobble head mystery boxes from Toys for a pound - I then spent aaaaages carefully opening the boxes (which were flippin glued shut), then opening the little black packet to check them and then resealing them, just incase ... because santa wouldn't give double toys ....only for every single one to be different!!

Vicious2018 · 07/12/2018 17:56

Jack's has Luvabelle dolls(£35), hatchimals(£29) and LOL surprise jewellery series(£10).

TheDrsDocMartens · 07/12/2018 17:58

Any ideas for chocolate shot glasses? My mum fancies some for her baileys....

Notlongnow1 · 07/12/2018 18:34

Scoleah · 07/12/2018 18:56

@BernardBlacksWineIcelolly No Problem! It Looks awesome for the Price Grin

PinkPanther27 · 07/12/2018 19:03

Sorry it was me that said the HP pop book was £13, didn't realise it was a different one :-)

imsorryiasked · 07/12/2018 19:39

As an alternative to the pop up Harry Potter book this one has really good reviews. It comes with an invisible ink wand/pen so you can draw your own map, but the pen also has a light that reveals hidden stuff on certain pages.

Youcantscaremeihavechildren · 07/12/2018 19:40

Thanks for the code for the bodyshop, done click and collect for 3 hand creams for £9, teacher presents nearly done, just got the male teacher who only does 2 days to buy for, I did a candle and hand cream for the female TAs and the elemis hand wash for the main teacher plus a candle, just have no idea. Dd is no help.. Hmm budget cheap as possible, I've spent just over a fiver on the rest and 7 on her main teacher.
Braving real life shopping tomorrow... Dreading it. Town will be rammed...

Youcantscaremeihavechildren · 07/12/2018 19:42

Oh, meant yo say I've seen this deal for craft Gin club, it looks like 2 bottles of gin, full size, plus mixers and snacks for £40,can be cancelled anytime.
Looks like a good deal if the gin is worth 20 quid a bottle. Normal boxes just 1 bottle for £40 quid so I'd cancel it quick once the first box arrived!

Reckles5serenade · 07/12/2018 19:53

I need some help!

My OH has decided he wants more of his aftershave for xmas. Last year I paid £28 for a 100ml bottle and now I can't find it less than £40!
Anyone know any voucher codes for fragrance type websites please?

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 07/12/2018 20:15

Fragrance shop has 17% off with code PERFUME17

itwaseverthus · 07/12/2018 20:16

What's the name of the aftershave Drummingisfun?

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 07/12/2018 20:17

Youcantscareme it’s a very good deal from craft gin club- they are usualky always had to find, pricey gins. I get one every other month. It’s a good deal - I’ve got mine this month and it’s a Christmas gin. Their customer service is great too.
