Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it [thanks

Taffeta · 06/12/2018 17:50

Merry - how much do you want to spend and are you near London?

Taffeta · 06/12/2018 17:51

The person that was asking about small potted Christmas trees - both M & S and Sainsbury’s were selling them today

Elphaba17 · 06/12/2018 17:56

I can't remember who was asking about cheap candles with lids but Primark had these today for £1.

Managed to get £20 off my Celtic and co insoles! Thanks so much!

MerryTwinkletoes · 06/12/2018 18:34

Doh, forgot to say that! Approx £20-30 and no, I'm a long long way from London!

Scoleah · 06/12/2018 18:36

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 06/12/2018 18:42

I could do with a beard trimmer thing, where can I get a barginious one?

aimee888 · 06/12/2018 18:49

Half price advent calendars at Hotel Choclat

Elphaba17 · 06/12/2018 19:00

Is there any way to get free delivery as well with the Celtic code?

Trumpton · 06/12/2018 19:08

Couldn’t find a free delivery code for Celtic at all. I bought a new suede brush and boot protector and insole for dd . Bargain !

Rockhopper81 · 06/12/2018 19:09

No idea if this will be of use to anyone, but thought I’d post it anyway (it came in my Celtic & Co order). £75 off £114.99 or more of wine with Naked Wines.

There was also this in the package - 10% off and free delivery on my next order. I suspect it won’t stack with any other offer though.

doistayordoigo · 06/12/2018 19:25

Someone posted a little while ago about Simpsons tic-tacs available at the Entertainer...popped into our local store today and they hadn't got any and said they weren't getting any more. No idea how much they cost, but would anyone be willing to check their local stores for me please?

justmemrsb · 06/12/2018 19:34

@GirlWithTheYellowHat I got one earlier today for DH from Tk Maxx, they had quite a few to choose from. No idea if it was a bargain but I got a Wahl rechargeable one for £14.99?!

imsorryiasked · 06/12/2018 19:38

@doistayordoigo Tesco have had these in the normal sweet aisle for several weeks. Asda had them too.

Coffeeonthesofa · 06/12/2018 19:44

Thanks
Notlongnow1
Popped into Flying Tiger on my way home, so many things £1. Lots of stocking fillers reduced from £5 or £4 to a pound and sturdy gift boxes that play a Christmas tune when you open them small ( not that small) and medium both for a £1 each. I may have gone a bit mad buying up the shop.

recklessgran · 06/12/2018 19:45

@GirlWithTheYellowHat - not exactly a beard trimmer but I have a spare GROOMERANG if you would like it - no charge of course and happy to post out if you PM me your address. Ordered 2 from Amazon by mistake but it would cost more to return than I paid for it - so happy to give something back [all be it only a tiny little kindness]

Notlongnow1 · 06/12/2018 20:09

@Coffeeonthesofa glad it was useful. I have to say I'm quite tempted to pop back tomorrow as I was very restrained!

Did another Holland and Barrett order online to get some bits that weren't in store - so impressed with their offers.

GruffaloStick · 06/12/2018 20:11

Any suggestions for my DFIL, who is the most difficult family member to buy for. He's in his 70s enjoys reading, local walks and painting (not at the same time) doesn't like any smellies, food gifts, alcohol, clothes. Also doesn't like art material gifts as he prefers to buy his own. We can't buy him another book as that's always the default gift
Budget up to £30

doistayordoigo · 06/12/2018 20:15

imsorryiasked Thanks for that, I'll check there...was in Asda earlier but didn't go near the sweets as I was only returning items and looking for a jumper Grin

andadietcoke · 06/12/2018 20:16
