@neddle, you're right. The G&B chocs that were still intact went to the Brownies leaders. I'd rather they had them than the teachers who, as you say, are just doing their paid job (also I'm jealous as we secondary teachers never get anything )

Really grateful for all the ideas on here - been doing stockings for 40 years now and always think I'm not going to come up with anything new or different but always do thanks to these threads.

Smuggle have a up to 60% off, great if your child loves that expensive tat and you don’t want to pay full price, I just bought a few stocking fillers including some drink bottles (half price).

For teacher gifts we have done chocolate sleighs for the last 4 years. Always go down well. The dc make them with my supervision.
This year I have bought some fill your own baubles, letter beads fake snow and fake Holly all from the poundshop and have said to the DC they can do something with them bits. We have a lots of box's of celebrations and hero's and plenty of craft stuff they can use as well. I was going to do travel mugs with chocolates but couldn't find enough of the same brand/ style at a good price.
The swimming teachers and other club teachers will get the sleighs.

Another thing that would be nice for teachers is the stuff from the Mickey mouse advent calendar at superdrugs. £3.50 and you 12 different products.

Any suggestions for dads/granddads in their 50s please? No particular hobbies, had all the personalised items over the years and need a change from the smellies and chocs
