Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Has anyone seen any nice quality pyjamas (long legs, long sleeves, no buttons) that won't shrink in the wash for an older boy?

He's size 12-13. Struggling as lots of them have pictures or slogans that are a bit young for him.

Thanks!

PunkAssMoFo · 20/11/2018 11:48

I’ve had some great bargains from Abercrombie sale online. They also give you £10 off your first order over £50.

£10 off first wild & bloom with BDN1181

Matalan codes attached if anyone can use them

iggi999 how does ordering the Xbox from Germany work, won’t the box and all the instructions be in German? I’ve just bought one on EBay Ao’s shop for £179 which includes a Minecraft bundle. Quite like the idea of the two controller one though but nervous about buying from a Germany?!

Elphaba17 · 20/11/2018 12:14

Bez33 thanks for the elemis deal earlier, I managed to get a cracker too with the free gifts.

Carbsnomarbs · 20/11/2018 12:17

I've had birchboxes before. They are pretty rubbish but very easy to cancel. It just seems like they are chucking a load of free samples in a fancy box and overcharging I had 3 before i stopped them.

Notlongnow1 · 20/11/2018 12:23

What was the Clinique moisturiser code?! And is it still on?! Thanks

Alanamackree · 20/11/2018 12:25

My Santa sacks from two (three?) threads ago finally turned up. No idea what took so long but they were well worth the wait. They even put the fada on ds’ name. He hates his name spelled without it and it’s usually an issue for any personalized stuff. Customer service was lovely.

KitKatCHA · 20/11/2018 12:43

I've just ordered the Xbox One S from the AO ebay shop, it comes with Minecraft game and starter pack with freebies for £179 and delivery on Thursday. I did a bit of googling and a few sites said it was the best deal around so far. I prefer this to a bundle as now we can choose the games DS actually wants.

KitKatCHA · 20/11/2018 12:44

Also found this Hydraulic robot arm on Amazon for £23 which I think 8 year old DS will love. He's getting hard to buy for as he's not into toys anymore but I think this will keep him occupied!

Iggi999 · 20/11/2018 12:45

I'll tell you on Friday! You dont need instructions, and when you start it up there'll be an option to pick the language. Debate over whether it will have a euro plug or not, but thats easily fixed. Your deal sounds just as good though.

Iggi999 · 20/11/2018 12:45

Sorry thats to whyisitsodifficult

Iggi999 · 20/11/2018 12:50

eastmidswarwicknightnanny how lovely! Hope you have a lovely time with Santa.

Has anyone seen any deals on jellycat? Looking to buy a few comforters for new baby DS- used Debenhams last time with DD but they only have 10% off at the moment...

BluthsFrozenBananas · 20/11/2018 13:28

I saw a nice set of That’s Not My Unicorn book and a little unicorn plush for £7 in WH Smith’s today. For older unicorn lovers Poundland had a load of bits, saw a couple of women filling a basket with them, someone’s DCs are going to have unicorn themed stockings.

margaritasbythesea · 20/11/2018 13:29

Does anyone know if Morrisons is going to have their 25% off wine deal this year? I thought it was starting last week but I can´t find any mention of it and it´s not on the MSE deals predictor.

Tesco´s is on BTW, but they´re not generally rated as highly.

Allhallowseve · 20/11/2018 13:30

Any deals for men’s aftershave ? Especially looking at miniatures??

butterflymum · 20/11/2018 13:43

@Allhallowseve

Debenhams have this set reduced and I think there was a free postage code a few pages back on the thread.

butterflymum · 20/11/2018 13:48

@Allhallowseve

Or, Argos have this set, but check reviews first to be sure folks are getting what they expect, as I bought some sets frok Argos the other Christmas and had to complain as they were not as described.

butterflymum · 20/11/2018 13:49

from* not frok

Whyisitsodifficult · 20/11/2018 13:50

iggi999 yes I was pleased with that deal. I’ll be interested to see what comes for you on Friday! I think I’ll still watch for any further deals on Black Friday as I’ve got 30 days to return. Life was much more straightforward when you just went to the shops wasn’t it!

Waterlemon · 20/11/2018 13:50

Anyone looking for make up?

I’ve just ordered a couple of these for my teen nieces from Birchbox. Look like contain a nice collection of basics for a beginners collection. It Came up on my FB feed, there are some other sets, but all seem to be a bit hidden on their website.

And a poster on another thread recommended this company, so I’ve also ordered some bits from here - amazing value, and supposedly good quality. Perfect stocking fillers

DeezMutts · 20/11/2018 14:02

@FogCutter what about these from Next? Next have a few sets that fit your criteria. They will shrink if tumble dried ime but are ok with just normal washing.

I have the same problem getting pyjamas for ds. Same size and criteria as you but also he doesn’t like the cuffed ankles and literally 90% of all pyjamas these days are cuffed Angry I used to rely on Next but they don’t have any plain uncuffed ones this year.
