Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Thanks starry just what I'm after !!

AlbusPercival · 12/11/2018 16:48

AMazin keep moving price of chocolate. It was £5.50 and I put it in my basket. As I went to pay it went back to £14

AllAboutMyBoys · 12/11/2018 16:56

Great, thanks Lauren. Buckley London are the designers of my beautiful poppy brooch from the Royal British Legion's website, so that's a very good deal!

friskybivalves · 12/11/2018 17:05

For Ewock and other Green & Black peeps I recommend using an incognito chrome tab or a browser like Duck Duck Go which doesn't track your web pages. As soon as I went into Amazon that way I saw the £5.50 price. Otherwise it was just £13 using a Fresh basket.

Ewock · 12/11/2018 17:08

Thanks Frisky. Not sure howto do that on my phone so will check later on the laptop.

fairiesandelves · 12/11/2018 17:33

Anyone got Tesco's helping hand vouchers through post yet ? The one where you save say £5 when you spend £50 etc over a few weeks. I'm after a F&F cashmere scarf.

Got sparks 20 pc off ones through today valid from 15th I think I'll post codes nearer Thursday
Also John Lewis ones came today but not all that.

LaughingM · 12/11/2018 17:47

Does anyone know what the best 'extra' reduction usually is on The Book People? They've got 15% off on handpicked favourites at the moment, I have also seen it at 10% off so just wondering if I should order now or see if it goes up to 20!

Betsy86 · 12/11/2018 18:21

fairies my tesco coupons came today so should be doing the rounds this week everywhere maybe!

BreadAndButterDreamer · 12/11/2018 18:25

I’m looking for Irish mist whisky and green spot whisky. I can see Sainsbury’s sell the Irish mist but I’ve been to my nearest three stores and none of them stock it.
Can anyone recommend any cheap sites to purchase whisky please? Thank you!

Bangwhistlepop2 · 12/11/2018 18:33

Just clear your cookies before you do any amazon shopping so it doesn't inflate the prices.

LostMyRubySlippers · 12/11/2018 18:38

laughingm I usually wait for 20%- shouldn’t be long for one. Not even sure if they might do 25% on occasion..but 20% is a regular

TheGirlWhoLived · 12/11/2018 19:42

Laughingm, their best ever I think is 30% which wasn’t long ago- they will do another for Black Friday so I’d hold fire

Jessica78 · 12/11/2018 19:50

Thank you for the Sainsbury's double up advice! I only had £15 of points which I doubled up to £30, then using their 3 for 2 offer on Christmas wrapping paper etc I managed to get £45 of wrapping stuff for free! It's a Christmas miracle!

BlueisthenewGrey · 12/11/2018 19:51

@ewock I just use the app so can't do a web link. I looked in the afternoon it was £14 and then looked again and it had gone down. I have just checked and gone up again. Keep checking, the price keeps changing .

buckeejit · 12/11/2018 19:51

Wow, my ds loves brussel sprouts, he would go nuts for those crisps!

friskybivalves · 12/11/2018 20:14

Buckeejit- hasten thee to Tesco then for festive farty crisps. Six bags for a pound! Nom nom nom.

Unihorn · 12/11/2018 20:32

Anyone near Trago Mills, they have great offers on children's toys and books, I could've spent all day there!

ja9r · 12/11/2018 20:41

Any idea how I could wangle some % off le creuset?! Surely there must be a wee Black Friday deal somewhere? Just can't bring myself to buy something without a discount..!!!

buckeejit · 12/11/2018 20:41

I'm for Sainsbury's tomorrow to buy a Nintendo switch & game on the double up!

Spam88 · 12/11/2018 20:46

ja9r TK Maxx have some le creuset sometimes. Or are you anywhere near an outlet store?

2Sailors1BabyComing · 12/11/2018 20:55

Ecookshop (Dawson’s department store) normally have a Le Creuset discount section, I’ve used them a few times for various things including a heavily discounted KitchenAid mixer @ja9r

PiggeryPorcombe · 12/11/2018 20:56

Up to 50% off at Joules now with their “Black Friday” deals on selected stuff.

Thank you to whoever posted about Truprint calendars - I just got £72 worth of calendars for £28!

Purpletigers · 12/11/2018 21:06

Thank you for the watch link Threejumpers

WoahBodyforrrm · 12/11/2018 21:11

WH Smith have a great bargain on some kids book. If you buy David walliams new offering, Ice Monster and The new Diary of a wimpy kid book (both 1/2 price and £6 something) you get 2 free books from a choice of 6. So I got Bah Humbug by Michael Rosen and The Christmasauras for £13.98. Pleased as punch with that. Also got 28 sharpies for £9.99.

Primark had some fun Christmas games, I got one where you wear a long elf or Santa hat with a ball on the end, then have to knock over the Christmassy props using just your head. Muchos fun on Xmas day 😃
