Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

frisky they've gone back up 😤 That was quick 🙁 I think they are cheap when Amazon have stock. I've been checking them since I missed them first time round so it's worth keeping an eye on them.

Dolphintrainer · 12/11/2018 14:37

Just ordered this game for my soon to be 9 year old - looks fun for any older kids you may be struggling for ideas for. Ravensburger break free handcuff game. Lowest price according to CCC
Break free game

IJustWantToWearDungarees · 12/11/2018 14:38

Thank you so much, @pumpkindee! Code v much appreciated. x

LutherRalph1 · 12/11/2018 14:40

Can anybody recommend a bargain photo calendar site please

Thanks

RemyRelax · 12/11/2018 14:53

Paperchase 15% off code FRIEND15

It also allows the discount even when getting the 3for2 on wrapping paper etc. Handy for stocking fillers too

Chocolatecake12 · 12/11/2018 14:58

I got the last green and blacks box in Tesco today! Feeling rather smug!! Thank you whoever mentioned it. My dp will be very happy Smile

bettythebuilder · 12/11/2018 15:09

Truprint have got offers on calendars, 40% off when you buy one, 50% when you buy 2, 60% when you buy 3+ with code 2019CAL, ends 2nd December.

CoffeeAndEnnui · 12/11/2018 15:13

Thanks so much for the Mia and Me tips. Our DD is going to be incandescent with joy, she has NO idea there is any merchandise in existence at all!!!

While this thread is lifting my Christmas spirits and giving my budget a boost...

Has anyone seen a Beanies (coffee delivery/coffee advent calendar) discount code or offer??? I thought there was one on a previous thread but I'm striking out so may well be remembering something from last year!

friskybivalves · 12/11/2018 15:27

Hmmm. On the trail of Green & Blacks I have come to Tesco express. And can only assume yours are classier than mine. Best I can find is walker's revolting Yuletide Offering.

Farty Brussels Sprouts crisps anyone? Yours for a £ #nottempted.

BlueisthenewGrey · 12/11/2018 15:34

Green and black chocolate is back on at £5.50. I swear I just looked an hour ago and it was £14.

friskybivalves · 12/11/2018 15:41

Thanks Blue. I finallY nabbed four boxes for school TAs etc.

hi Here's something weird. I came out of amazon. Refreshed page and it was still showing as £12 ish. So I went into an anonymous browser onTo Amazon and finallY got the £are 5.50 price. I'm now wondering how many other inflated prices I have been stumping up for on Amazon. Cookies, I presume.

KavvLar · 12/11/2018 15:48

Thank you @Pumpkindee I’ve used one of your codes. Much appreciated!

KavvLar · 12/11/2018 15:51

Fell into Sainsbury’s and have come out with all teacher and TA gifts sorted and a fluffy hot water bottle (for moi). A good effort. I also marvelled at and almost bought the ice White fake fur throw that is DRY CLEAN ONLY! Would last about 15 hot seconds in my house

Unihorn · 12/11/2018 15:53

With regards to teacher presents, my mum has been a teacher/head for about 30 years now and as a child I used to adore parents who gifted her chocolate as she shared it with us Grin she hated candles/bath stuff and it always ended up in a charity shop. Before she became a head (and therefore received very very few presents) she probably amassed about 100 mugs in her teaching career..! Chocolate and wine were always a winner though.

TheDrsDocMartens · 12/11/2018 15:55

I usually go for chocolate/wine etc as it’s easy to regift/swap if it’s something you don’t like.

scrappydappydoo · 12/11/2018 16:04

I’ve had my eye on this game for my nephews - best ever price according to camelx3 this

JellycatElfie · 12/11/2018 16:09

Tk Maxx have lots of Jellycats in store both regular and sale prices. As you can see I’m a jellycat lover Grin but they had lots of nice soft toys that would make nice gifts.

Raindancer411 · 12/11/2018 16:11

Love the Brussel crisps mmmmm

Someone in Sainsbury's earlier was buying a Sony PlayStation on the double up 😳

scrappydappydoo · 12/11/2018 16:15

Also I’m looking for a good quality Santa suit at a bargainous price. Seen ones in homebargains but they look cheap and thin. Need a proper one [santa]

Wait4nothing · 12/11/2018 16:21

Chocolates and wine are favourites here (teacher).

I’m looking forward to going to sainsburys but will probably wait until Thursday as toddler is at nursery so I’ll only have baby! Unless I have the energy post-bedtime (that won’t be tonight!!!). I’ve got a list - don’t need much alcohol this year as we’re hosting and my mum and dad are bringing wine and beer and we have spirits left over from last year (when I was pregnant!)

Ewock · 12/11/2018 16:28

Blueisthenewgrey can you link the Green and Blacks please? Showing as £14 when I search for it on Amazon.

starryeyedsnowgirl · 12/11/2018 16:31

Until midnight tonight you can get 10 personalised photo cards on photo box for £2.99 delivered with code 10FREECARDS

I discovered last night you can do some of their cards, mugs etc on your phone (iPhone, don't know about others). There seemed to be fewer available designs than on a desktop, but meant it only took a few minutes. Quite pleased.

Lauren1983 · 12/11/2018 16:38

The code MSE10 gets you £10 off a £15 spend at Buckley London jewellery. It includes clearance stuff. Delivery is £3.99 and the code expires 11.59pm tomorrow. I've never bought stuff from them before but the offer was MSE so think they'd be decent quality.
