Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

I would be heartbroken too @TimeForMy10thCuppa. I know it’s only ‘stuff’, but still... I hope the damage is not as bad as you are expecting.

woodwaj · 08/11/2018 23:49

Try soldout5 on flavourly not much but will hopefully cover postage if it still works!

TheGirlWhoLived · 08/11/2018 23:50

Not even a dh ihope !?! There’s no hope for womankind after all Grin I’m TheImprobableGirl in disguise, not a random lurking stalker (or also a random lurking stalker- either way!) so I’ve been bobbing about for a fair few years Wink

Well there’s some lovely decs in the Debenhams 3 for 2 timefor I think it’s time to have a new theme! And one posh garden centre one for each of you. I’m happy to send you dd’s homemade angel (to keep it off my tree Blush) for a more rustic look!

Anybody looking for the Harry Potter snitch helio ball thing, it’s £35 in Argos, £25 in Smyths (although sold out) but a bargain £25 in Debenhams as it’s in the 3 for 2! Also I found if you put 4 or 5 things in your basket, it takes a third off everything so no need to work out what is cheapest- I got game of thrones risk and Harry Potter cluedo too as well some glasses etc

I'm sure I saw someone ask about Wolf stuff so maybe on here....
In Dunelm mill they have a husky range from all size soft toys to feet warmers.
Large 70cm husky (or dinosaurs) £10

Has anyone seen any Jurassic World advent calendars in the shops? Just a chocolate one? There are some on ebay but don't really want to pay over the odds if I can avoid it! Thanks!

Asj0405 · 09/11/2018 00:32

Very has some black Friday deals live now. Nothing amazing as far as I've seen but could be useful to someone.

DaisyChops · 09/11/2018 04:31

Just done my Argos 342 as kids woke me up! Toys I wanted had stayed on offer and were 342 which is unusual for Argos but very barganeous for me 😂

Nzou1050 · 09/11/2018 06:48

Slime game bargain at argos: www.argos.co.uk/product/8261047?rec=HP:bottomSlider:p1:ELT:trending:8261047

SimplyPut · 09/11/2018 06:49

@TheGirlWhoLived is this it? Also on 3for2.

Reserved my 342 items last night and much to my surprise they are all in the 342 offer this morning! I was convinced at least one wouldn't be and I'd be scrambling around trying to find a replacement.

Aside from one big present for my eldest we're done for the kids. We know what that present is too we're just hoping for a Smyths sale before Christmas. :)

duckling84 · 09/11/2018 07:31

Oh @timefora10thcuppa I would be devastated too if I found my christmas decs destroyed :(

Try collecting pine cones and spray painting them, then drying out orange slices and hang them on branches with cinnamon sticks.

Jemimafuckinpuddleduck · 09/11/2018 07:35

@ecofreckle

Thanks for your suggestion of equine shop on eBay, right up our street as daughter had a pony and always looking for nice or practical stocking fillers to bulk up her sack.

I can’t seem to find it on Etsy using that name, could you possibly post a link please.

clairec87 · 09/11/2018 07:43

Baby annabell is now only 32.69 on Amazon Prime. I think this is the cheapest I have seen it! Xx

Reastiepeace · 09/11/2018 07:43

Blueooo when I first read your message I thought you meant you had 342 items in your basket rather than the 3 for 2 offer. I was thinking Shock that woman knows how to shop!

Amazon definitely have dropped prices to compete with Argos. The three items I wanted are all in the 3 for 2 but same price if I get them on Amazon. Worth checking if you don't want 3 items!

BlueOooChristmas · 09/11/2018 08:15

Poopsie has dropped to £36.33 with Amazon Prime.

BlueOooChristmas · 09/11/2018 08:18

Reastiepeace Haha, oh it's heading that way! Time for me to stop now I think. The problem with shopping early is you can get the twitch and end up panic buying a load of rubbish. I'm sure my husband would say that's what I've done already. :D

Notlongnow1 · 09/11/2018 08:21

@BlueOooChristmas that's how I read it too. Glad you don't actually have that many items to wrap!

TraceyBond · 09/11/2018 08:38

For other people with horses or ponies, Haas grooming brushes are amazing or a nice saddle cloth from Premier Equine would always go down well.

Notso · 09/11/2018 08:49

I have 2 M&S codes if anyone is interested 😊

Wellfuckmeinbothears · 09/11/2018 08:56

@Im thank you so much!! X

ismellsnow · 09/11/2018 08:56

@Notso could I have one please?

Member212711 · 09/11/2018 09:08

@defensivejinkling I was in Flying Tiger yesterday and looked at the £10 advent calendar. It was quite large and the things inside were good(ish) - rather reminiscent of what you get inside a fairly good cracker, if that makes sense.
