Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Any M&S codes going spare? Suddenly need to buy a new winter coat...

I have a £5 off a £30 TU clothing from Argos code if useful. Needs to be used before midnight on Sunday.

HoneyDragon · 07/11/2018 09:11

If it’s supplies by Amazon or supplied and despatches by Amazon on behalf of the retailer Amazon are pretty good with fakes if you can prove it.

I purchased some Rapidlash and was able to show the two boxes and bottles side by side and they fully refunded me, and informed me they’d no longer represent the seller.

NoSquirrels · 07/11/2018 09:16

I got Cherimoya on two different browsers... so I suspect most people will have ‘won’ the dubious scent... like a PP says, at least I didn’t have to spend £60 after all Wink

BreadAndButterDreamer · 07/11/2018 09:20

I’ve just won 100ml of the Cattleya flower body mist. Don’t know if that’s any good?

Purpletigers · 07/11/2018 09:32

Lego’s free gift with an £85 spend atm is a mini diagon alley ( Harry Potter) . This is being sold for £35 ish on Lego Facebook pages ,so if you wanted to buy a more expensive set and didn’t want the free set it’s a good way to get some money back . They also have a nutcracker for £8.50which makes a lovely decoration or a fun secret santa gift for an adult .
Don’t forget cashback and also PayPal are offering £5 off a £10 spend if you pay with them - saw this on hukd so maybe check there

flubbadubble · 07/11/2018 09:48

I got Cattleya Flower, no idea what it smells like but I have nothing to buy from there anyway I just like games Blush

The DC Batgirl toddler doll is down to £14.99 on Amazon, not much reduction but a few pounds.

BreadAndButterDreamer · 07/11/2018 09:53

@Purpletigers I can only seem to find the PayPal offer for October? Gutted I didn’t know about this last month as I have spent loads lately paying with PayPal!

BreadAndButterDreamer · 07/11/2018 09:56

Sorry @Purpletigers I can see now that it’s only if you buy something from LEGO. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Purpletigers · 07/11/2018 09:58

I ordered from the Lego website yesterday afternoon and then discovered the PayPal offer last night 🤦‍♀️ breadand butter

BlueOooChristmas · 07/11/2018 10:01

Thanks makingmiracles. Can I ask another Kids Fire question for the those who have one - would I get away with the 16gb version? It doesn't sound like much and I know how fast the kids have filled up my iPad... but the other seems too expensive.

Also I don't know if anyone else is feeling this (and I know it's the danger of starting early) but I seem to have spent a lot and I still don't feel I have much to show for it. I'm getting twitchy!

TheGrandHighWitch · 07/11/2018 10:04

Thank you to PP who mentioned the M&S Disney card game. That's another present off the list.

Re the Cards against Humanity cheap versions. I ordered one from eBay a few months back for about £12.50. Fortunately it arrived and there's been no dodgy activity on my account, however, quite a few of the cards have spelling mistakes or poor grammar. It's not enough to detract from the fun of the game (was quite amusing tbh), but obviously not a legit set.

Wellfuckmeinbothears · 07/11/2018 10:06

@Blue yes me too! I feel like I’ve spent loads but not a lot to show for it. I’m almost done for the kids, just need to choose them something off my dad. But still have Mum, step dad, two brothers, two sisters and dh! Seriously stuck on dh.

woodwaj · 07/11/2018 10:12

The hotel chocolat delivery code above worked for me but the 10% off didn't. A quick Google brought this one up instead and it worked VCLOUD10XMAS

Serendipitystardust · 07/11/2018 10:13

Blue My DC's both have the 16gb kindle fires and just use a memory sd card to increase storage capacity.

Drummingisfun · 07/11/2018 10:15

I've probably waaaay missed the boat on this but does anyone have a boden £10 code pretty please? I need to order a coat for my boy to lose at school and £10 off would make it a bit more affordable.

He's grown like a weed and his current coat is suddenly too short!

ihopeyouwitchesareready · 07/11/2018 10:28

i need a yours clothing code if anybody has one spare.

Alanamackree · 07/11/2018 10:35

I won a 100mls of cherimoya too Hmm which I passed on. Just as well really as I can’t really afford the spend right now.

totallyLosingIt · 07/11/2018 10:55

I ordered from Woolovers on the 19th November last year. I think I placed my order towards the end of their deal as I was debating it for ages. Only bought 2 jumpers in the end... if they do the offer again this year then I'll be stocking up Grin

I've got a feeling that they won't do as good a deal this year though. And why can't I find anything about their 2017 deal on hotukdeals or anywhere?! It's like it never happened.

MissRainbowBrite · 07/11/2018 10:57

@Drummingisfun Boden have 25% off everything cosy until midnight tonight which includes all coats if that helps at all, code is G8F2.

HouseworkIsASin10 · 07/11/2018 11:02

Does anybody remember the Cosmopolitan Party Beauty Box from last year? It was only £25 and had loads of stuff.

I am after something similar if you spot anything. I've googled on Hearst and nothing has come up.
It was handy to split into stocking aswell.

dementedma · 07/11/2018 11:05

fragrance direct have some good stocking filler bits and pieces at the moment.

IWishYouWere · 07/11/2018 11:06

25% off orders over £10 at The Works with code JINGLE

HouseworkIsASin10 · 07/11/2018 11:25

Thanks Demented

Have just found Glossybox through TopCashBack. It's only 5 items but you can do 1 month subscription through TCB and it's 20% off, so works out £11.25 including postage.
Worth a try for a small pressie.
