Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

That is such a shame butter as you’d think you could trust being sold by amazon. Funnily enough I had to message about a funko pop I thought was fake (through a store on amazon) and I got a pretty nasty reply, and saying they only have genuine items (still pretty sure it was a fake though Hmm)
I’ll make a note to always check reviews.

Jennywallpaper · 06/11/2018 20:22

Just seen George at Asda are doing 20% off children's clothes and nightwear, seen some Harry Potter pjs that might be good as they seem to do all the houses.

TittyBoneGhoul · 06/11/2018 20:24

Leapfrog musical tea party set (new version) £10 amazon here still £21.99 in Argos... bargain

TittyBoneGhoul · 06/11/2018 20:30

BigFatBloomers · 06/11/2018 21:12

Orange baubles here, if you still need them TheGirlWhoLived

Thanks for the Calvin link Jammiebammie. Sounds like I need to check reviews carefully

BigFatBloomers · 06/11/2018 21:20

TheGirlWhoLived I've just remembered that the John Lewis Christmas room is rainbow themed this year. Look at these beauties.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 06/11/2018 21:55

jammie I didn't realise you could get fake funko pops. DD1 has just got into them and I've bought a few from Amazon for Christmas, is there anything I should be looking for to check they are legit?

babypossum · 06/11/2018 22:02

If buying from Amazon, I always use reviewmeta.com It essentially tells you if the reviews are fake so you can look at another seller.

BlueOooChristmas · 06/11/2018 22:09

Don't know if it's been posted but Argos 3 for 2 on toys starting Friday according to facebook. Remember to check prices on other sites before you buy though.

Does anyone have any idea how much the kids Fire tablets are likely to be on Black Friday?

vroc81 · 06/11/2018 22:31

For anyone in Sussex Woolovers have a factory shop with year round sales and a few £10 racks, colleagues and family are all looking good in their bargains..

And the Ollie and Nic outlet is just round the corner from them so dad jumpers and a new purse for mum all in one hit..

The Works have some great books in their 10 for £10 offer online. Search for the Albie books written by Caryl Hart, they are great for 3-5 year old boys, my son loves Albie. Well written and he goes on different themed adventures.

I've bought a few of these for ds and his nephew and 4 Christmas books all for £10!

I noticed Going on a Bear Hunt, 5 Minutes Peace, Funnybones were a few classics in this offer too.

ritzbiscuits · 06/11/2018 23:00

Oh, forgot to mention they have some Harry Potter things too - playing cards, calendar, key rings, cookbook, notebooks, mugs.

Worth a look esp if you aren't near a Primark, they deliver free to store as well.

gaggiagirl · 06/11/2018 23:07

The jo malone game wasnt great for me
100mls of cherimoya, which by all accounts smells of cat piss.
Oh well that's saved me at least £60.

makingmiracles · 06/11/2018 23:29

@Blue from memory the fire tablets tend to be £29-£59 on Black Friday, depending on STORAGE capacity

JUST ordered a big hotel chocolat order as had a personal vip code
BUT if anyone else is ordering ......

MCV10XMAS gives 10% off orders £40+
HCFR33DEL gives free delivery normally £4.99 and code do stack

GRr just taken 10 mins to write this post....the keypad/autocorrect goes mental recently, caps everything a adds in random words. I use the website not the app, on the iPad. No other site does it. ONly been in the last few months it’s been doing it, some days worse than others......anyone else having problems??

Allhallowseve · 07/11/2018 06:12

Thanks ritzbiscuits I didn’t expect there to be so many classics in the works 10 for £10 . Also found nobot the robot which is a story my ds loves on CBeebies bedtime stories .

RaggieDolls · 07/11/2018 06:48

gaggia I won 30ml of it...! I think I'll pass on that after your glowing review Grin

woodwaj · 07/11/2018 07:52

Thanks For the hotel chocolate code! Any idea on what the dates are like if I order now for Xmas?

herecomesthsun · 07/11/2018 08:07

Really good deals on Asda for some Harry Potter and Fantastic beasts sets, buy 2 get 25% off. see<a class="break-all" href="https://direct.asda.com/george/toys-character/harry-potter/D30M7G2C25,default,sc.html#direct.asda.com/george/toys-character/harry-potter/D30M7G2C25,default,sc.html?srule=g_price_asc&start=40&sz=20" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">here at the bottom

tentative3 · 07/11/2018 08:27

@PurpleSock there is a separate Christmas referral thread.

NoWordForFluffy · 07/11/2018 08:35

@woodwaj, I can't imagine stuff ordered now, unless it's in clearance, will have a short life. They're marketing stuff for the Christmas crowd.

I bought a load of batteries from eBay the other day. I'm ready for the battery-heavy onslaught of Christmas!

gaggiagirl · 07/11/2018 08:39

Raggie I've no idea about the cherimoya really, everyone on the style and beauty thread says it's rank and like toilet cleaner 😂 I trust their judgment.

Threesocks · 07/11/2018 08:49

I got the cherimoya in the jo malone game too... maybe they have a job lot they can't sell?!?

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 07/11/2018 08:55

Now I know who to blame (Jo Malone) if I go into a house that smells like cat piss with no cats 😂
