Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@ihopeyousteponalegopiece B&M do candles very very similar to woodwick candles. I've heard very good things about them. All less than £10.

Mrsfussypants1 · 30/10/2018 21:15

Oh and my mum bought woodwick copies from home bargains, she swears they are just as good and were only £5, they look identical to WW.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 30/10/2018 21:27

If anyone is looking for a nice photo gift this year I highly recommend downloading the photo tiles app. You get one free per month just pay £5.99 delivery. They are brilliant quality and look great on the wall, they just stick up using the enclosed adhesives. I got one for home and I was amazed at the quality, going to do a few more as gifts.

Also there's snapfish and free prints where you can get 50 free prints per month - handy for frames or those christmas photo frame cards.

EightToSixer · 30/10/2018 21:44

@carrotvan. That would be perfect, I wanted charcoal ones for her. I'll DM you and will put them in the post to you 😁

FireflyGirl · 30/10/2018 21:51

Someone earlier in the threads was looking for large Disney soft toys They're 50% off at the moment. That is an affiliate link, from the site I found the deal on, not me. You could possibly find it on the Disney website if you didn't want to follow the link.

Jessica78 · 30/10/2018 23:04

The complete Jane Austen for 2.25

IHeartKingThistle · 31/10/2018 00:14

What's a good price for a Nutribullet? Looking at the 600 so not one of the fancy ones.

Nzou1050 · 31/10/2018 02:04

Great price for the Jane Austen, thanks @Jessica78

Kids Fire 7 is £79.99 atm - is it likely to be lower on Black Friday?

thewayoftheplatypus · 31/10/2018 05:37

Very impressed with Studio- used the £20 off £50 spend and free delivery code. But lots of stuff was much cheaper (as much as half the price) in my basket than the listed price.

I got a pair of converse, fleece pyjamas and some niace Turkish Delight in a wooden box for DH. A personalIsed dressing gown for my dad. 2 boxes of 24 personalised pencil crayons for the DS. And a couple of nice cotton pillowcases.

In total I only paid £31 for all of that!! Brilliant bargain!

imsorryiasked · 31/10/2018 07:19

Half price sale on selected watches and jewellery at the Watch shop and an additional 15% with code YWAIT

Wait4nothing · 31/10/2018 07:24

Thanks @fireflygirl that’s me with only 1 thing left for the kids! Bloody ball pit balls - going to buy at weekend

Smellybears · 31/10/2018 07:33

@Wait4nothing I know asda were selling them for around £1.50 per 100 bag. I was gutted as I’d bought two bags for £5 each a couple days before and had thrown away my receipt!

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 31/10/2018 07:44

@BeaLola thanks for the Lakeland code

MsMiaWallace · 31/10/2018 07:53

@thewayoftheplatypus which discount code did you use for that offer?

Pondering1 · 31/10/2018 08:05

My Heritage.com doing 25% off ancestry dna boxes until tomorrow - www.myheritage.com/dna

thewayoftheplatypus · 31/10/2018 09:54

@MsMiaWallace code 029. It was sent to me in the post with my catalogue xx

rosablue · 31/10/2018 10:57

Whistlefish are having a mystery discount Halloween sale for 48 hours (ending midnight 1st November - so I think today and tomorrow as the email came out this morning... but I hate it when they say midnight as it can be either at the start or the end of the day, there's no agreement as to which it is, but that's a whole other thread!)

Code is FRIGHT, they don't seem to mention it on the website.

They currently have any birthday cards at 10 for £8 and any christmas cards at 15 for £8. (if you buy the cards individually, they seem to be between £1 and £2 each, so a good saving). I've had their cards for several years (having first been recommended them on these threads years ago!), they're nice quality and have some lovely designs, and it's great to be able to pick whichever ones you want rather than being restricted to one or two designs in a pack!

rosablue · 31/10/2018 11:10

And an early christmas present if you have football mad kids who live near Milton Keynes...

Bizarrely an international footie match is being held in MK in November - Brazil vs Cameroon (who are the current African champions apparently).

No idea why the match is going to happen there and not in Brazil or Cameroon but ds(13) is incredibly excited about this, as lots of the top Brazilian players are going to be there and it's a chance to see them up close. Think ds is most excited about seeing Neimar (no idea of spelling!) but there are others too.

Tickets seem reasonably priced too - cheapest £25 adult, £10 child, most expensive £40 adult, £20 child. Booking opened an hour ago and I managed to get some in the 3rd row. It's a very new stadium and is supposed to be excellent - comfy seats, clean, spacious and a very good broadcasting suite - so seems to be used more and more for this sort of one off event when being held out of london (but not too far! Grin)

DillieDoily · 31/10/2018 12:04

Just bought this Clinique set for £25.50 in debenhams today as they had an extra 15% off Clinique but think it is in-store only. That's my sister sorted now!

thaegumathteth · 31/10/2018 12:10

Tesco have the hideous bunny surprise toy for £15

Niceforwhat · 31/10/2018 14:31

Can the poster who was looking for the H&M code pm me, I’ve got a 10% off and free delivery code (can only be used once)

margaritasbythesea · 31/10/2018 14:46

I got the Turtle Doves gloves in exchange for an old jumper today. The gloves are nice, but I asked for a dark colour and got light turquoise. Not to be relied on for a present, unfortunately.
