Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Checking in [santa]
Thanks for new thread. Have nearly finished DD's presents, Christmas and birthday in Dec. Still after barbie camper van if anyone sees any deals.

Now on the lookout for 10 year old DS. He's getting a phone so after any small bits to pad out the tree a little if anyone has any suggestions.

Soap and Glory sets are reduced to £15, plus 3 for 2. You can get 3 for £30, so great pressies for teenage girls or women

@fallensky

What about a den kit? They’re usually about £40+ but I made my own for ds with some camo netting , tarpaulin, tent pegs, torch etc.

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 21/10/2018 12:47

@Unihorn I would make the most of your 9mo having no clue about what's going on, only buy one or two toys and then just buy things you need (clothing, shoes, etc)! Family and friends will probably also buy LO toys!

balalalala · 21/10/2018 12:51

Thanks for the aldi toys tips! Despite checking last week I had no idea it was available today!

@IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts thankfully my family have an agreement not to buy toys as there are 10 nieces and nephews under 16 so we'd all be poor with houses full of crap!

I'm hoping to get away with buying very little but DSD is 7 so I worry she may wonder why the baby has fewer toys than her or my 2 year old so wanted to try and get 3 or 4 decent things alongside books and clothes!

Checking in, thanks for the new thread, Reastie!

Alanamackree · 21/10/2018 13:31

has anyone come across any Minecraft pjs or t shirts?

Gentlygently · 21/10/2018 13:35

If anyone is an audible member, they have a really good sale on children's audio books until 28th October.

DaisyChops · 21/10/2018 13:39

@FallenSky I also have a DS10, they are a right pita for Christmas aren't they!!!

Luckily mine has asked for some Xbox games but other than that, I've already got a few sports tops in the sales, maybe get a pair of trainers, shower gel, sweets (like the really long tubes so they look quite big when wrapped) socks, but going for go for the branded sports ones so they cost more and he has been warned that he will not have a big sack of presents this year whereas his younger siblings will, he was ok with that. Keen to avoid buying for the sake of buying as we have games sat there still in the wrappers from last year, such a waste! And omg, the shite people bought him was just unfair, I actually took most of it back to the shops and gave him the money which he put towards a computer game....why don't people ask for ideas!

CheekyFucker · 21/10/2018 13:39

Thread title. I can die happy 😊

DaisyChops · 21/10/2018 13:42

@Alanamackree I was stood messing with the sequins on a minecraft top in next the other day, unfortunately my son isn't really into MC but they have a lot of nice stuff...and you know it's going good quality from next although prob not very barganeous.

Smellybears · 21/10/2018 13:43

Is it tomorrow Sainsbury’s have 25% off Tu clothing?

GandalfTheGoat · 21/10/2018 13:45

We've just picked up lots of VTech bits massively reduced in our local Tesco. They had them in a basket by the front door. They were clearing off lots of the shelves in there for some reason, making room for more new stock and toys perhaps?

TimeForMy10thCuppa · 21/10/2018 13:46

Smelly, I think it's Tuesday.

OhGhoulyFuck · 21/10/2018 13:47

@Alanamackree Primark also had some - I bought DS1 a studded one last week (nicer and less fetish wear than it sounds!)

OhGhoulyFuck · 21/10/2018 13:48

@GandalfTheGoat I can't quite see on that picture- how much was the paw patrol boat?

WheresTheCoffee · 21/10/2018 13:49

Thank you Reastie!

DelurkingAJ · 21/10/2018 13:50

The Aldi dolls houses are fab but they’re very pink...DS(2) would like a dolls house and I was wondering if anyone had seen a more unisex one?

My old one is languishing in the garage as the floor’s come off and DH promised to mend it (I am not allowed to after a couple of malcoordinated DIY errors) but he clearly won’t anytime this century...

GandalfTheGoat · 21/10/2018 13:58

@OhGhoulyFuck it was £3.50! DM picked one up on Friday for £7 so they'd reduced it again.

OhGhoulyFuck · 21/10/2018 14:02

@GandalfTheGoat that's amazing! Been looking at those for ds2 and they're about £15 I think usually

Smellybears · 21/10/2018 14:04

@TimeForMy10thCuppa thank you! I’ve got so many clothes for my little one already, I bought far too much 6-9 and 9-12 month clothing, I need to restrain myself when I go in on Tuesday!
