Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Smelly, I'm rather annoyed because we go away tomorrow untill Friday. I will come back broke. Both mine are in need of a few bits and saw loads in Sainsbury's last week that they would love.
I have noticed though every time I buy in the event and go back the following week, the older stuff is usually reduced. In the normal sale bit.

Alanamackree · 21/10/2018 14:11

Thanks for the Minecraft tips! I didn’t see anything in Penneys recently but we might be a week behind Primary so I’ll check again. Never thought of Next! And could definitely use some good quality ones as DS won’t wear anything else and is getting holes!

Thanks to whoever posted about the £5 Santa sacks at the end of the last thread. I was tempted by them last year when they were reduced to £10 but couldn’t resist them at £5 Grin

Who was it doing the photobooks on different sites? Just wanted any update on them. I spent hours on the snapfish site on a book. Struggled with pitifully slow loading before the site kept crashing and I couldn’t update the book then couldn’t even log in. Have tried resetting the password which it won’t let me do. Just contacted them on online chat and they just tell me there’s an issue and they don’t know how long to fix it and they won’t give me any money off my photobook for annoyance of time wasted. Really annoyed with them and going to go elsewhere even if it does mean starting from the beginning again.

@alanamackree Sainsbury’s Tesco’s and Asda’s all have minecraft shirts. Primark has a huge minecraft section at my local. Lots of tshirts. Also next have nice ones as do marks and Spencer’s. Very sell them too and character.com and amazon. They also have there own stuff at minecraft shop

Smellybears · 21/10/2018 14:51

Has anyone seen any large fruit and nut toblerones about please?! If so, WHERE?! I can’t find any!

sunshinerobots · 21/10/2018 15:05

torthecatlady · 21/10/2018 15:18

Checking in!

JDSTER · 21/10/2018 15:27

fallensky for my 10 year old I’ve got a football, a onesie from Primark, some sweets, a small tin of Oreos (half price in Tesco), fleece blanket (matalan), hot water bottle (Primark) a board game and a couple of books.

I was in home bargains today and asked about slime advent calendars (someone on here mentioned them). They’ve sold out several times apparently - as soon as they’re in they fly off the shelves. I bought the last wooden fill your own advent calendar they had.

Ewock · 21/10/2018 15:28

B&M had toblerones but I didn't pay attention to which ones they were.
Thanks to pp who gave me the idea for a balance bike for my 2 year old and the santa sacks code. I've ordered my two a personalised sack each and my mil one of the candle holders.

Smellybears · 21/10/2018 15:34

I’ll have a nosey in b&m, thank you for whsmith too. Nipping to the Sainsbury’s sale on Tuesday, I’ll look in there too for toblerone!
Still after reduced Baileys (kicking myself for not getting it the other week at £12), an ice cube mould that’s a big sphere if anyone can help? Also a photo mug, looking out for codes Grin

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 21/10/2018 15:36

Ewock what was the Santa’s sack code? Smile

CaveMum · 21/10/2018 15:37

Placemarking, thanks for the new thread.

Jammiebammie · 21/10/2018 15:38

Just a thought thought for those who can’t get to a Sainsbury’s, Argos now carry the Tu clothing range, and the last sale they reduced to the same prices and you could reserve to collect at Argos.

nordicwannabe · 21/10/2018 15:41

@DelurkingAJ Have you noticed that the Aldi dolls house has 2 different colour options? The mint/grey one isn't all that pink.

Pandasarecute · 21/10/2018 16:19

Definitely Tuesday for Sainsbury's 25% off clothing. A lovely employee told me today when I was debating whether or not to buy a coat!

Pinkyponkcustard · 21/10/2018 16:21

I’m cross about the pink dolls house too, even the mint one is quite girly. Grr.

TalkingOrmer · 21/10/2018 16:29

@Reastie here's a screenshot of the great advice given re photo books.

Does anyone have a fatface discount code?

Reastie · 21/10/2018 16:38

Thanks talking. Did the poster of this finish the book with printerpix? If so would you recommend?

DelurkingAJ · 21/10/2018 16:38

Sadly I think his big brother who has all the tact you’d associate with your average 6 year old would say ‘that’s for girls!’ with either of them. I was hoping for plain walls and a red roof or some such!

CheekyFucker · 21/10/2018 16:53

I am heading to Mainland UK tonight. I am beyond excited. REAL SHOPS!!!

margaritasbythesea · 21/10/2018 16:55
