Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

MerryTwinkletoes · 21/10/2018 22:07

Has anyone seen any thin/cotton onesies without a hood anywhere please? After one for DS(8), but he overheats very easily and all I can seem to find are huge fluffy ones!

SimplyPut · 21/10/2018 22:08

@Wiifitmama it has been all TU in the past. Have my eye on tan boots!

SimplyPut · 21/10/2018 22:11

@MerryTwinkletoes M&S have this one. Had more for girls.

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 21/10/2018 22:11

MooPointCowsOpinion · 21/10/2018 22:12

lauryloo · 21/10/2018 22:19

@Smellybears Asda have the fruit and nut toblerones :) I got one the other day

MooPointCowsOpinion · 21/10/2018 22:20

Can anyone recommend a kid friendly tablet, and did anyone get a great deal on a tablet last Black Friday?

MerryTwinkletoes · 21/10/2018 22:21

Amazing, thankyou for onesie recommendations!

MerryTwinkletoes · 21/10/2018 22:23

@MooPointCowsOpinion we have an amazon fire which I like for kids as you can program it not to let them on before a certain time in the morning, and to kick them off after a set time too! Sure it was only about £35 on Black Friday a few years back

gaggiagirl · 21/10/2018 22:37

Second the kindle fire. Very inexpensive but it works great and was absolutely indestructible for 2 years until DS really tried very hard to smash it!

Givealittlebit · 21/10/2018 22:47

Thanks Reastie for the new thread! I'm another one who is sitting on their hands until pay day. Although may walk into town to see if I can pick up a wallet ninja in Poundland, I've debated them for the other half for a few years now and can't say no at £1!

@ja9r our Also seems to have them all year round!

MooPointCowsOpinion · 21/10/2018 22:47

Thank you @MerryTwinkletoes and @gaggiagirl, did you get the kids version with the case? It’s about £100 now with 2 year warranty and the case, So i will definitely wait for Black Friday then at that price.

Givealittlebit · 21/10/2018 22:47

Hmm. Meant our Aldi. Silly phone 🙄

Spam88 · 21/10/2018 22:48

For people buying wallet ninjas, just remind the recipients they need to take them out of their wallets if they're going on an aeroplane 🤦‍♀️

ja9r · 21/10/2018 22:48

@Givealittlebit Excellent! Will go look!

Alanamackree · 21/10/2018 22:55

@ja9r they do, but I think they’ve done larger versions of the candles with three wicks for some occasion, possibly mother’s day.

margaritasbythesea · 21/10/2018 22:58

Merry - John Lewis also have boys cotton hoodless on síes. And perhaps H and M.

StubbleTurnips · 21/10/2018 23:04

DD has decided she wants the Spirit playmobil, so After that and duplo sets for DS. Know zero about playmobil - likely offers from now til Xmas??

@StubbleTurnips I'm sure I spotted that in TKMAXX last week

1stTimeMama · 22/10/2018 00:04

@MooPointCowsOpinion, 3 of my children have the Kindle Fires, but just the normal ones. The kids version does nothing more, except they added a whole lot of extra money to the cost because it's aimed at little ones! Ours were £25/30, and we bought a case for each, and they're still going strong 3 years later.

MooPointCowsOpinion · 22/10/2018 00:09

Ah fab 1sttime good to know thank you!
