Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Thanks KitKat just grabbed that for my 3 year old.

BernardBlacksWineIcelolly · 28/10/2018 11:46

thanks to the PP who posted about the nectar points swipe and win thing at sainsbury's. Just been in and done my shop in store rather than online and won 6,000 points (split my shopping half and paid twice to get 2 swipes!).

very pleased

@eastmidswarwicknightnanny
Sorry only just saw this. I haven't used it myself I'm afraid but the instructions said to add toys to the value of £20 to your basket, then add the Lego Christmas Town Square set then use the code LEGOXMAS.

NickMyLipple · 28/10/2018 12:31

I've looked through the entire thread and can't find a link to the personalised Santa sacks anywhere - can someone help me out please?!

SymphonyofShadows · 28/10/2018 13:37

I saw some personalised Santa sacks on Wowcher today if that helps?

This is a great company on Groupon; ours are from here. I had an extra 10% code come through earlier which you may be able to find too. Don't forget cashback through Quidco / Top Cashback too.

NoWordForFluffy · 28/10/2018 13:56

PLAYTIME is for an extra 10% off in the goods category, which I'd think this is in.

VaprousDropProfound · 28/10/2018 14:11

Nick it was

santasacks.com/

Code was Robin5 (I think).

MuppysMum · 28/10/2018 14:59

Glad it helped @moocowsopinion TheOwlandMe and weelis02 Smile.

Don't know if you have spotted these - but I bought some good LEGO activity books from The Works down to £2.50 each (have checked they are available online too and free c + c). They all have a mini fig included - a DC Superheroes Superman one, and a DC Batman and a Star Wars Space Adventure one. Make decent stocking fillers and The Works always seem to do money off codes etc so you could probably get the cost down further [santa]

OhGhoulyFuck · 28/10/2018 15:22

Looking for what seems the impossible! Ds1 loves 'the greatest showman' and wants a ringmaster outfit, has anyone seen one in age 8/9? All I can find is really expensive ones or just the plain red butlins style jackets

makingmiracles · 28/10/2018 15:47

THanks to the poster who told me about the Photobox code, just ordered one for dps gran of our dd so that’s her partially sorted.

If anyone else missed it, it’s an A4 photo calendar for £4.99 just add promo code FREEA4CAL in promo box at checkout.

makingmiracles · 28/10/2018 15:47

Meant to say calendar offer ends today

Smellybears · 28/10/2018 15:55

Glad you managed to make one, mine arrived the other day and for £4.99 it’s a bargain!

makingmiracles · 28/10/2018 16:00

Thanks @smellybears Grin

KitKatCHA · 28/10/2018 16:18

Kids love these Jumbo Squishies for some reason! Compared to buying in the shops they seem to be very good value though - £15.99 for seven large squishies. In Smyths today similar ones were £10 each Shock

imsorryiasked · 28/10/2018 16:39

@OhGhoulyFuck you might be better making one up - smiffys do a red tail coat. So you'd just need a fancy shirt (similar to vampire?) And black trousers and a hat.

eitak22 · 28/10/2018 16:54

Bit random but if anyone has a a cancer research near you they are selling Christmas hand soap in plastic bottles shaped like penguins/trees/santa. You could reuse next year to cut down on plastic waste. Think they were about 2-3 pounds.

Spam88 · 28/10/2018 18:18

My Santa's bag app works when I turn off WiFi and 4g. Phew!

Are there any new look codes still valid? My sister announced today that she wants a pair of boots from there.

neddle · 28/10/2018 18:20

Anyone know how to get the Amazon Lego duplo offer to work?

I’ve got amazon family and two kids profiles of the right age. £35 toy sold by amazon in the basket with one of the offer duplo sets. Code won’t work though.
Any ideas?

TalkingOrmer · 28/10/2018 18:46

Jammie sorry to hear about your DC x

woodwaj · 28/10/2018 19:18

Is this any good @Spam88

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 28/10/2018 19:22

Right folks, I need to pick your brains for ideas please....

.... teenage DD and DS were talking earlier about how they still love having something to "play" with on Christmas Day just like when they were little and had actual toys as presents rather than clothes, tech etc

In the past we (or Father Christmas) has given them things like bucky balls (those tiny magnetic balls that you can shape etc), cheap mini drones, nano blocks from Ali Express etc

Any ideas for this year please? Not too expensive as it's just a fun thing that will probably not get much use after Xmas.

FekkoThePenguin · 28/10/2018 19:31

Something like kerplunk or buckeroo?
