Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

With that budget, have a look at CEWE Photoworld. I've used their lay flat ones before and they're great quality.

rosablue · 13/10/2018 08:18

sleep The Works have the same boxes of blank cards that Hobbycraft sell for a fiver but you can often get big 20% or more off discounts so makes them cheaper - worth checking out.

If you do go into hobbycraft they used to have a loyalty card thing that would give you money off when you sign up which is worth investigating.

And finally - does anyone know if Hobbycraft is going to do its green felt stickbon the wall Christmas trees again? I missed out last year so am hoping to get one this year!

runningpink · 13/10/2018 08:19

I have a one off 20% discount code for L’Occatine if anyone wants it please PM me

wafflethewonderdog · 13/10/2018 08:19

@SockEatingMonster
Our friend who's a photographer used photobox to make our wedding album

LoudestRoar · 13/10/2018 08:19

Thanks for the new thread!

Givealittlebit · 13/10/2018 08:22

@rosablue I've seen the green felt tree from hobbycraft that a friend shared this week so they should have it back this year! Hoping to get one for my 1 1/2 year old to play with

Givealittlebit · 13/10/2018 08:25

@woodwaj what about hampers for parents and in-laws? I've done this a few times as it's gone down well, last year I did some flavoured gins too and stuck them in

14 year old girl, vouchers? Or if you want something more 'present like' then the cineworld do a little voucher gift box thing that's quite cute

woodwaj · 13/10/2018 08:25

@runningpink I'll have the code if no one has asked already 😊

woodwaj · 13/10/2018 08:28

Thanks givealittlebit. I think the in-laws might like a hamper. And my go to gift for the teen was a river island voucher. I'm going to see how much the cinema ones are now though thanks!

Thanks @Spam88 and @wafflethewonderdog, that gives me somewhere to start! I was a bit swamped by choice and have only ever ordered small cheap ones before. I suspect the £50/book won’t go that far once I’ve added all the pages I need in..!

YeahILoveSummer · 13/10/2018 08:53

@Spam88 I am new to this and liked the look of the brush. Where do I get the referral code for it?

Stripy29 · 13/10/2018 08:55

Sorry to be greedy but if anyone has another free m&s code please could they pm it me 😂 seemed to have filled my basket again...

Charlottejade89 · 13/10/2018 08:57

Hello, new to this thread 😊
My local Poundland has loads of emoji stuff, like stationary, backpacks etc and also some shimmer and shine bits as well.
Does anyone have a discount code for prettylittlething by any chance? I had one, went to use it and my payment wasn't processed and when I went to try again the code wouldn't work! Sad

Momasita · 13/10/2018 09:03

Sock... Join Groupon, printer prix have photo albums on offer all the time through them. I got lovely 100 page book for under 20 pounds.

I would never pay 50 per book yiu can find much cheaper.

Spam88 · 13/10/2018 09:04

@YeahILoveSummer it's just on amazon. Just scroll down and just below the picture and main information there'll be a promotion box saying 70% off when you buy 1, you need to click that and activate it, then when you go to checkout the discount will be there.

Sleeptight, the Usborne Dino Book Reastie is recommending is currently 4.99 at The Book People. Just ordered one myself in their recent sale. My DS loves them and they tend to be very detailed.

Reastie · 13/10/2018 09:23

Sockeating I’m also interested in photo book places. I’m currently 1/3 way into a book on snapfish. I prefer the extra options you can add when making the book (layout/embellishments etc) than photobox (the only other company I have experience with for photo books) but I’m finding their website a nightmare. Everything takes ages to load and is so unresponsive and slow. Need to make another photo book after this one and am on the lookout for a better website to work with.

ScarlettDarling · 13/10/2018 09:25

Spam88 I can only see a promotion box saying 10% off which takes it down to about £22.50. Is the 70% off still showing for you or has it ended? Just like me to be too late for a good bargain!

hmslfc · 13/10/2018 09:25

@rosablue The felt trees have been in hobby craft for a few weeks already. Ours had some of last year's felt sbowglobes too and this year's design which is a felt gingerbread house. I just have to find somewhere to hang them all now Grin

squish7 · 13/10/2018 09:27

I can't get the REN link to work either, and can't find products on website either. did anyone find it?

snowmanshoes · 13/10/2018 09:32

Stripy - send you a Marks' code, hope I've done it right never sent a PM before!

margaritasbythesea · 13/10/2018 09:33

Lego City Mountain Police HQ 44.99 on amazon. Lowest ever price acording to CCC.

Thanks for the new thread Reastie.

If anyone sees any Mega Bloks Halo stuff could you please post? DS is suddenñy obsessed but most of it seems to be only available in USA. I did get the blind bags and the little set from Toys for a Pound but was not very lucky with the blid bags and got lots of duplicates. He won´t countenance second hand as we had a couple of disappointments.
