Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

No affiliate links please.

Referral thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@wrecktangled there’s a pandora outlet?? Shock she likes the rings actually, she got one for passing her exams and I know she’s eyeing one up that stacks with it so that could actually be a lovely idea, thank you!

MuppysMum · 18/10/2018 18:30

Jammiebammie not sure of your budget - but has worked well for teens in our family a Smartbox Happy Birthday @ Buyagift.co.uk Its £49.99 but you get money off if you sign up to their newsletter (it used to be £10 off 1st order). Or maybe google for voucher codes off? They hv lots of gd experiences they can choose from depending on their likes - the young driver one was fun.HTH

MuppysMum · 18/10/2018 18:36

sleepismysuperpower1 thxs for the links Smile

Jammiebammie · 18/10/2018 18:40

Thanks @Muppysmum I’ll have a look there, dh thinks I should take her to see a show or something, but there’s nothing on close by and I can’t physically manage much (probably tmi but dds my young carer)
Mil has bought her a spa weekend for them to enjoy together, I’m trying hard not to feel put out by that as I know dd will love it and it’s v generous of mil, but I feel I won’t be able to do something special from me now, I’m probably being daft and overthinking it though!

Smellybears · 18/10/2018 18:41

@Jammie Thomas sabo bracelets are lovely. They’re about £20 and there are loads of different charms you can buy. I’ve got three bracelets and lots of charms, they come with a two year (I think) guarantee as we’ll lady in the shop told me to take it back if it ever snaps and they’ll replace. Fingers crossed mine haven’t snapped and I’ve had mine a lot longer than two years!

Thegirlhasnoname · 18/10/2018 18:43

I need to get back on top of these threads! Was following along posting when something popped up I felt others might benefit from but having an emergency c-section the other week has completely thrown me - definitely need all the bargains I can grab now after all Grin

Elderflower14 · 18/10/2018 19:27

I got these for 99p in Home Bargains today. We have an elderly relative who comes every Christmas. I thought these were a fun nonsense present.

I can’t seem to get the New Look code to work. Any one else?

Carrie76 · 18/10/2018 20:17

I’m looking for a Fitbit or Garmin for ds 8, if anyone sees any deals on them. I’m thinking I should probably wait until
Black Friday

friskybivalves · 18/10/2018 20:19

Carrie does it have to be a Fitbit or Harmon? I just got a Mi fit for my DS 8 and he loves it. It's water resistant, there's a 3rd gen model, loads of different colour straps available, fits a small child's wrist without falling off and only around £26.

friskybivalves · 18/10/2018 20:19

Garmin not Harmon!

Snooky17 · 18/10/2018 20:19

FAMILY20 also works for 20% off new look (at least it did earlier today)

Betsy86 · 18/10/2018 20:21

THANKS20 also works for 20% off newlook x

Tiggles · 18/10/2018 20:25

@carrie76 I got my boys garmins on black Friday last year. Think they dropped somewhere around 10 and 20 pounds. The now 10 yr old loves his.

butmumineedit · 18/10/2018 20:53

thaegumathteth · 18/10/2018 21:05

I also have a tall 8 year old and bought an actual buggy rather than a toy one

buckeejit · 18/10/2018 21:21

Dd wants a LOL doll. Never done it before & don't understand it - is it a lucky dip? So many things-any particular one to buy or any discounts ever?

orangemouth · 18/10/2018 21:21

Has anyone ever seen the Melissa & Doug Dust Sweep Mop set reduced? I can't decide whether to order now or wait to see if the price drops.

PurpleSock · 18/10/2018 21:27
