Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

All those ordering from iwoot be careful. They take pre orders before they actually have stuff in stock. Last years loads of people (me included) were waiting two months plus for stuff to be delivered. They refused to cancel my order and refund as they had apparently allocated the stock to me (they still hadn’t actually got it in stock themselves). I will never use them again.

@MaryDollNesbitt she sounds very similar to my ds who is also 11.5.

He is keen on a sorting hat - I’m not sure why really but he’s definitely keen!

Book token? ds loves choosing his own books. We have a second hand book store here and it’s enormous. He loves a day there buying books and just soaking up the atmosphere.

@drspouse it’s in store only I believe but they have tonnes of stock. There were none on the shelves when I went in, and the assistant said they’d had so much delivered they couldn’t fit it all out.

Has anyone who ordered in the Lisa Angel sale had problems with the goods? Two of the jewellery items i ordered have broken within a few days of being worn, bought loads more as presents and loathed to give them now! Anyone else had any problems?

Just received my turtle dove gloves lucky dip. Really pleased as the colour is perfect for the intended recipient and they’re really lovely.

mary how about the illustrated editions of the Harry potter books? They are beautiful. Beedle the bard is the new one this year.

Harry potter adult colouring book and Sharpies - very detailed my 9 year old loves hers.

Definitely Primark for Harry potter goodies- loads in there I've bought/seen hedwig snowglobe, mini Snow globes, bags, cushion, duvet cover, signs for the wall, clothes, notebook, hot water bottle cover, jewellery.

Funko pop figures - my dd loves them and you can get loads of characters or mini blind box ones.

I can't remember the website but you can get whole books on a poster there's a Harry potter one. Might be nice framed for her bedroom. Or a poster of another interest.

QWERTEE often have Harry potter t-shirts. I buy my dd who is nearly 10 ladies size S as the sizes are quite fitted. (She normally wears 9-10/10-11)

My 11 year old is reading geek girl books at the mo. she loves lego, sewing, sketching things and those bobble head pop things.

I have the Harry potter book poster. It's a lovely thing for a potter geek but beware...it's huge! The illustrated books are really nice.

I bought some earrings from Lisa Angel. I randomly found one broken but I blamed the cats.
