Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

I popped into my local Morrisons yesterday and they are currently doing an offer on 2 for £5 of these 500g boxes of biscuits, they've got a really good BB date as well.

My M&S doesnt have any festive booze, sob. It is a small one though so think I might have to venture further afield... Really hoping they do their clementine gin again this year!

DelurkingAJ · 20/09/2018 10:20

Thank you for the heads up re Lego advent calendars at JL. One of each type ordered for DSs and DH.

CarrotVan · 20/09/2018 10:57

Quality Save/ Home Bargains had some nice things in:

RHS Bronnley hand wash, shower gel and hand lotion in Poppy for £1.99 each - nice to put in a gardener's hamper

Mr Grumpy jigsaw puzzle tin - £1.99

Rocket and Rye Bamboo travel cups - £1.99 (and look much more expensive) in really nice patterns

Zak Designs kitchenware including cake stands, stacking bowls and a range of other things - the cake stand was about £6 I think so a bargain

Also lots of bamboo cleaning and kitchenware for people who are trying to reduce plastics

HoneyDragon · 20/09/2018 12:13

My 35p snitch bracelet and necklace came today. Great stocking filler was pleasantly surprised at the quality for pence

CarrotVan · 20/09/2018 12:21

And TK Maxx had lovely Rex London reuseable coffee cups for £3.99.

Dolceandgabbana14 · 20/09/2018 12:24

Anyone been to M&S this week? I'm wondering if the big rectangular tins of shortbread are still half price? Missed them last year, but they're great for teacher gifts!

Hedgyhoggy · 20/09/2018 12:26

What was the jl Lego advent tip? I can’t find it

Alanamackree · 20/09/2018 12:32

Aldi have gin truffles at the moment which might be a nice addition to a gin-themed hamper.

springsummerautumnwinter · 20/09/2018 12:41

Dolce I was in M&S Monday and offer was still on.

SymphonyofShadows · 20/09/2018 12:42

Hi, this is a bit random but does anyone know the best place to get a bargain stand for my artificial tree please? It's still ok, and the prelit lights still work but a couple of the little plastic slot on feet have broken.

Spam88 · 20/09/2018 12:57

filthy I'm reasonably certain I saw the clementine gin in my local store.

woodwaj · 20/09/2018 12:59

Trafford centre m&s had reduced liqueurs and a boxed whisky reduced from 70 to 45. My Lisa angel order came. Very happy with it for £6

Excellent, thanks @spam88

A couple of years ago I bought some bundles of Whistlefish cards, put them in nice boxes and gave them as gifts. They were very well received as the designs are so lovely.

I ordered again this year and hoping they are just as well received - Bargain Card Bundle.

They also do tins (can fit about 40 cards in I think)
Blue tin

Pink tin
Christmas tin

I got a discount for 10% my next order but it's generic so I'm sure will work for everyone - XMAS10.

Top tip - if, like me, you went overboard with buying christmas cards last year and don't need any for this, they normally do bundles of Christmas cards for the same-ish price as the floral bundle after Christmas (sometimes they also throw in a free tin I now have four christmas tins )

Greystar · 20/09/2018 14:26

Not exactly Chritsmassy but just seen Habitat have 25% off until Sunday

AhhhhWoof · 20/09/2018 14:32

Hi all!

I've been stalking this thread for so long and haven't contributed a thing! So here goes..

Firstly I have two seperate mothercare birthday 20% codes if anybody can make use of them? Let me know and i'll pm you.

Also I had an email from Poundshop with 10% code off Kids & Toys, I only mention this as I saw a few bits in tkmaxx this morning for £2-6 ish and have seen them on poundshop too for £1 with the 10% off. Code is KIDS10, Today only! Bit random but for the poster looking for mr.men stuff, there are arms bands and a swim ring on there.

In TKMaxx this morning (Stockport one) there was loads of playmobil stuff ranging from £5 to £20 and also in the book bit I picked up a musical christmas book thing for my DD2 but noticed a few mickey mouse christmas dvd gift set things for £3.99 which looked good!

I'll be back when I have something more useful to add! Ha

What’s the best price I can hope to get for playmobil advent calendars? Do they go in Argos 3 for 2?

MrsCrimbo74 · 20/09/2018 15:50
