Thought I’d do a ‘how to’ for a couple of things people often post about not being sure of

To do click links you do this put link in here then a space then the name or phrase you want to go with the link . Don’t put a space between the start of the link and the and then last word and the like I have or it won’t work but I had to to demonstrate.

To follow the thread without using up a post to mark place you can click on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first post.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me k ow if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

I see the same spam & do not have prime...

Chrysanthemum5 · 15/09/2018 20:04

I second the recommendation for Turtle dove fingerless cashmere gloves I bought some last year for my MIL etc as they were a really popular gift

Wiifitmama · 15/09/2018 20:20

Just under the product on the amazon screen, it says "apply voucher" and there is a little tick box next to it. If you tick that and then go to checkout, it applies the 50% off. I just ordered the slime -thanks!

imsorryiasked · 15/09/2018 20:22

Is there a way of searching Amazon for items with the 50% discount?

ADuckNamedSplash · 15/09/2018 20:22

Guiness World Records 2019 - Gamers is back down to £4.99 on Amazon.

I missed it last time, so just in case anyone else did!

I missed it too, but have just ordered - thanks!

woodwaj · 15/09/2018 20:27

Imsorryiasked I've been trying to figure that out for ages and haven't been able to! Hoping someone knows!

ScarlettDarling · 15/09/2018 20:31

Ooh, didn't know about that 50% off voucher box on Amazon! Thanks for the tip ... I've just bought two putties! Had to put the orders through separately though to get 50% off both of them.

nuttynutjob · 15/09/2018 20:38

Be careful of that magnetic putty. It's from a Chinese business seller. Ask if it's CE marked. Which? did an investigation about the high levels of boron amongst slime putty.

Unihorn · 15/09/2018 20:57

Build-a-bear still have decent stuff in the sale, a sponsored advert on Facebook says they have a Disney sale on. I clicked the link and only a gymnastics and super hero (random!) sale came up. Also £6 off institutes tomorrow if you're a member of their club www.buildabear.co.uk

methenyouplus4 there is a Waitrose in Hexham! Worth the trip for me!!!

Methenyouplus4 · 15/09/2018 21:44

Gaggia- yes, so don't forget your card and reusable mug for a free coffee.

Also fab charity shops, one of them (nearest Boots/Clarks etc) nearly always has a stock of brand new Boden stuff too.

PamelaEwing · 15/09/2018 22:08

palmer surely fingerlings we’re last years must have toy?! Wink

Just noticed the 2 books for £7 deal on amazon. Just find your book and look for the promotions box below the picture to see if it qualifies.

TKRedLemonade · 15/09/2018 22:20

Thanks Donkeysandzebras and newnaneallround and other’s for the sylvanian tips. Am in a quandary as she mentioned something else this weekend so will see! Also whoever mentioned the Disney Lego sale on amazon thank you! I usually use my Lego acc but got the Ariel Lego she wants for almost 50% if what it is on the Lego site

Givealittlebit · 15/09/2018 22:26

Thank you to whoever posted the headphone pouch, the sort of thing I'd never think of for my husband who's always getting his headphones in a tangle in his work bag!

runningpink · 15/09/2018 22:57

I was in Home Bargains today. There was a few Christmas bits, cards, lights and candles. Nothing specific worth mentioning though.

DaisyChops · 15/09/2018 23:39

Got my kids a fingerling each last year, they have never played with them, total waste of money!

thaegumathteth · 16/09/2018 02:09

As @nuttynutjob says be careful re the magnetic slime. I threw dd’s away becUse of the safety concerns and amazon refunded me.

thaegumathteth · 16/09/2018 02:14

If you go into the bit next to the 50% off option on the magnetic putty where it says ‘details’ in the T&C there’s a hyperlink to all collected vochcefs and there are loads so it’s worth looking. Most are 5/10% but better than nothing?

whatwillicallmyself · 16/09/2018 04:11

Yes the 2 story pink house is reduced to £28, just something to take note of if ordering the blue 3 story house they have the house with the smaller furniture bundle listed as £59.97 and the exact same as £70 and the one with the larger furniture bundle as £80 and same again for £90, I wonder have they put up the price this year but still have last year's price listed too, so if ordering make sure you pick the lower price.

NotPennysBoat · 16/09/2018 06:59

How do you find the '2 for £7' books on Amazon? Tried a search but can't see it on any of the product pages...?

Reastie · 16/09/2018 07:25

Whoever was asking about the Amazon two for £7

Mustangsallyis · 16/09/2018 07:28

Picked up my small PoundToy order yesterday. There's a Friends10 10%discount voucher on the side. Don't know how long it's valid for or for how many uses but someone might get a small saving from it

JUST saw this one

Yankee candles

duckling84 · 16/09/2018 08:22

@mrsr8 I always follow the plan of 2 toys, stationary, book, socks, pants, treats for stocking so to add to your list probably just socks, boxers and whatever treat he does like (biscuits? Crisps? Pringles?) And maybe a game of thrones POP figure if he collects them
