This could be a good advent calendar if you wrap the gifts.

STARE2016 · 30/08/2018 22:50

Just placed an order at Tinc. They have last years advent calendar in their summer clearance down to £16.80 which is 40% off. Got one for my DD who didn't have it last year so won't know. Lots of cheap stationery bits in their sale too & free delivery over £10 at the mo Smile

KavvLar · 30/08/2018 22:55

Out of stock now Stare

Getoffthetableplease · 30/08/2018 23:12

Rip off Smiggle advent calendar purchased for biggest ds, at least I saved on smallest ds's one - toot toot drivers calendar for less than £15 with free delivery through argos clearance on eBay :)

On the lookout for an action cam that can be attached to a scooter now. Saw Vetch one on offer through Amazon but dodgy reviews!

LilMadAgain · 30/08/2018 23:52

Thanks for the blindbag tip Honeydragon, I've started collecting small pieces already but it's awkward because although we've got just the one boy I absolutely adore advent calendars and we usually end up with five Blush it's not spoiling him as they're for all of us iyswim? I didn't have one as a kid so I'm compensating lol I want to incorporate all the best bits of the expensive calendars I usually buy!

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 31/08/2018 00:09

superdrug have a set of real techniques flawless base make up brushes/sponges for £6.99 this week on their star buys things, going to pick one up for my sister and one for me i think as a cheeky reward for myself for doing so well with my shopping Grin

WreckTangled · 31/08/2018 00:57

Gutted I missed the tinc calendar in the sale Sad

rosablue · 31/08/2018 01:46

Alana All my seriously geeky friends reckon that Anker are the best brand for power banks. Depends on how big you want a powerbank to be to carry around and how much power you need but worth looking at some options on amazon and camelcamelcamel as the prices do fluctuate and they do have them as deals of the day sometimes.

imsorryiasked · 31/08/2018 06:48

@Getoffthetableplease I looked at the Spy Gear one tree otter fatty ave couldn't decide, but Amazon currently have if for £15.89 (£24.99 elsewhere)

@imsorryiasked we got that spygear camera for DS last year and it broke the same day, just stopped working for no reason - don't recommend unfortunately!

I'm fact, I made it a rule not to buy anything electronical so early last year as I didn't have the receipt anymore and couldn't return it...

Wait4nothing · 31/08/2018 07:22

There were small teepees in Sainsbury’s - in the clearance section not the toy sale (it’s near the freezers in my store) - £35 reduced to £10

BanoffeePieIsMyFave · 31/08/2018 07:29

Considering this Thomas minis advent calendar, am I right in thinking that it’s a little cheaper than last year? Wondering if anyone’s seen any discount codes for Debenhams or other ways of getting any cheaper? (As an avid bargain hunter it pains me to pay full price for anything and don’t get me started on paying for postage!)

BanoffeePieIsMyFave · 31/08/2018 07:31

Link fail!! Pic attached!

Thanks for the Grid-It idea. DH is not particularly gadgety but this sounds good for holidays as we are always losing chargers etc. I can't access the link given up thread. Could anyone else give me a link for a decent 'fake' one? I've never bought from Ali Express and I don't like in the UK so can't get to Primark. Thanks in advance!

Isadora2007 · 31/08/2018 08:00

I have a boden code for £10 off if anyone wants it just pm me.

woodwaj · 31/08/2018 08:03

I got the Thomas mini last year. Asda reduced them to £10 late in the year.

Fiver Friday shark t-shirts on rocket and rose postage will be added I think

@BanoffeePieIsMyFave
Last year I got the Thomas advent calendar from Asda. It started off that price, but by about October/ November it had dropped right down. I’d hang on
