If anyone has dc who are mad on the zhu zhu hamsters like my 3 and 6 year old dds the Entertainer currently have the individual hamsters for 3.33 at the moment , down from 13 pounds and the zhu zhu hamster run is 9.99 down from 29.99, comes with one hamster. Love this thread,,it was so helpful last christmas.☺

There are a few other books for £2 on Amazon as well. I've just bought Shark in the Dark and Bear's Big Bottom. The Tiger who came to tea is only £2.19 at the moment as well. Haven't checked if they are the lowest ever prices though.

Hi! Settling in as a long term lurker, but haven’t really posted I’ve the years!

If anyone likes the Brain box board games, Aldi was selling them at £5.99. Currently £8.99 at the cheapest on amazon, but I’m sure they’re usually at least £10 each.

Watching for another year! These threads give me a warm glow all through the run up to Christmas and maybe a touch of anxiety I'll miss something amazing after bedtime

With DS and DM birthdays in September and DD and DDad in November I really have to be organised to keep costs down, as well as avoiding too many double ups!

My contribution will be a penguin 'happy holidays' throw from Studio thats on clearance for £7.99 throw it is big! Didnt quite realise its about 6ft when ordering but at least there'll be plenty to cover DS4 and DD3 on the sofa while watching a christmassy film dreams of magical Christmas movie scenes

I have had many a name change but...Restie and RJ, definitely six years as I got DD her first birthday present as a bargain and she's almost 7 . It was the Christmas eve that RJ and I discovered we were in the same local restaurant!
