My magpie order arrived today (with no shipping email actually sent from magpie!) in case anybody was getting worried about the whereabouts of theirs :)

@carrotvan I have just ordered the walking with dinosaurs box set on Amazon, he'll love that and I had totally forgotten about that series! I'm going to give him it when it arrives though as I can't hold on until Christmas 🙈 Where would I buy fossils from, and the backpack play scene?

Hi was wondering if anyone knows of any sales on dinosaur stuff? For a 6 and a half yo so not any baby stuff. Jurassic world preferably. Can't seem to find much around

I have bought lots of reduced craft kits from Sainsbury's today for £1/1.50 ideal for present cupboard.

I got some sew your own unicorn bag, unicorn Pom Pom key rings. Also some Disney princess decorate your own jewellery box which are filled with crafty bits reduced from £7 to £2.10

Has anyone had their GAP other yet? Just wondering when that might arrive!

And you can get simple fossils like ammonites from museum shops (almost anywhere natural history focused or even sea life centres) or from here where thy even have fossilised fish poo (coprolite) for a whole 20p

Finally got around to doing my seventeen order! Thankfully they still had some bits left 😂 thanks for whoever posted original tip.

Can't remember who asked but there's lots of Jurassic world stationary bits in primark atm.

Also got some Harry Potter coasters reduced, just got to hope I get the right person in secretsanta now 😂

@reinderpoop if you have Netflix then there are some fab walking with dinosaurs specials - the ballad of big al, the giant claw, sea monsters with Nigel Marven

And Dinosaur Britain/ Dinosaurs in the Outback if you have Amazon Prime

Plus Blue Planet 1 is on Netflix

Think someone else has mentioned but Matalan now have all their Christmas bits online. I've just ordered dinosaur Christmas wrapping paper and tags for my little ones and dinosaur mugs, 3 for 2 on all cards and wrapping.

@weelis02 the Miles Kelly Encyclopaedia of Dinosaurs is fantastic but definitely a ‘reading with/to’ level. The Lego Creator 3 in 1 Dinosaur is also really good.

Toys for £1 have fake Lego dinosaur kits for £1

Not sure about Jurassic World stuff though. I’ve not seen any bargains yet

Lego are doing stuff though as they’ve got a special magazine out at the moment with an Owen and Lookout tower mini kit

Natural history museum have a shop online and they have some dinosaur themed stuff including jurassic world. I got some great dinosaur jigsaws. If you sign up for the email newsletter you also get 10%off.

My DS loves these smart max magnetic animals. They do lots of different things in the range but they are all pretty expensive if anyone sees a bargain!

Oliver Bonas has a sale, great for quirky gifts and accessories. Picked up hand cream and wash sets for £6, necklaces from £4 etc normally triple price.

I'm on the lookout for some girls slipper socks, the thick ones with non slip bits on the bottom. Christmas themed preferred but not essential!

Boots seventeen order arrived, the matte lipstick are fab, the fuschia one is a dupe for an old Benefit one I have colour wise.

Picked up some Playmobil blind bags from my local Argos this morning, also some Disney bath bits for £1-2 each from Boots, will be stocking fillers.

Got £3.50 unicorn space hopper from Morrisons, they were selling off a pile of summer things just inside the door. Think there were others, maybe Paw Patrol.

My gap order arrived two days ago.

@NotPennysBoat, I got some from eBay last year. The kids loved them. They came from China and were nice and cheap, but also good quality!
