A rubbish thread title but, well, it's 19 now!

20 days until Christmas, I'm imagining us all wrapping late at night like little festive elves readying ourselves for how excited everyone will be with their bargainous presents.

Any referral links to go on this separate thread please

20% off crew clothing and free del with VIP20 code (its on the website too)

Emma Bridgewater two 1/2 pt mugs for £30. Obvs nowhere near as bargainous as the earlier offer and probably no one left on here who still needs EB mugs but still!

EllaBells · 17/12/2017 16:22

Can anyone recommend a gift for a 9 year old boy who has everything for £10?

hashtagelfie · 17/12/2017 16:29

thatsmysanta good suggestion! Ds(5) wasn't so bad as what he wants is just a blind bag of some horrible tat (fungus amungus!) but ds(8) asked for Star Wars Lego! I've got him ninjago Lego, and avengers Lego but didn't think about Star Wars! Thank god for amazon prime

OhOurBilly · 17/12/2017 16:32

Thanks wenchelda no worries 😁

RockySpeed · 17/12/2017 16:36

@ThatsMySantaHisBeardIsSoFluffy

HOORAY! If I’m not too late then yes please! I can’t for the life of me figure out direct messaging on this app - apologies!

Has anyone bought a Groupon chain restaurant voucher as a gift? Wondering if you get something printable to give or if you have to forward an email etc?

AWholeLottaRosie · 17/12/2017 17:07

Urban Decay palettes are still reduced on Debenhams website, 30% off. Not as good as the UD 50% off but still worth it.

RenardeRenarde · 17/12/2017 17:50

Anyone have ideas on what to buy someone you literally don’t know at all?! Need a token gift for my SIL and her OH, i have met her once for less than an hour... they are mid-30s (ish..) - have just found out she has bought me a gift. Have been warned they are tight and not to spend too much!

jaimelannistersgoldenhand · 17/12/2017 17:59

Something edible like chocolate or biscuits, a bottle of alcohol (wine?), scented candle or a toiletry set (Bayliss and Harding is available everywhere)

snowbellina · 17/12/2017 19:29

Hi, does anyone have an ELC voucher code please? Trying to get Dniece a gift and then we're done!

herecomesthsun · 17/12/2017 19:43

Ella Bells - my DS totally loved the Last Jedi. How about a cinema voucher so he can go and see it if he hasn't already?
Alternatively a book or book voucher- there's a new David Walliams and I think a new Wimpy Kid out.
Otherwise Lego always goes down well with mine, there are small Star Wars sets around £10 and he never minds duplicates as he just adds them to the army.
Oh and chocolate in any form well received.

herecomesthsun · 17/12/2017 19:52

marks slippers £14-6
We had a previous version of these and they were good.

snowbellina · 17/12/2017 20:08

Would this be too expensive for the sil and oh?

For the 9 year old boy? My 10 year old has had this for 2 years and is still regularly played with by family and visitors.

If there is an Ikea nearby they do lots of fun Scandi Xmas stuff under the label "Winter Saga" or possibly "VInter Saga" - there are lots of ginger bread biscuits, mulled drinks (to be served with raisins and almonds), interesting jam and fruit juice, chocolate, coffee etc. We have parcelled up substantial amounts for family, as it looks Xmassy but you can pick what people would like and you can obviously buy as much or as little as suits you.

I think this is likely to be used and useful without people having to dispose of ornaments etc.

herecomesthsun · 17/12/2017 20:16

Also got some scented candles and a few baubles to decorate the packages.

herecomesthsun · 17/12/2017 20:18

We also got Labyrinth the game this year for £9.99, this I think will go down well with a 9 year old (not played it yet though)

MermaidCafe · 17/12/2017 20:19

Thatsmysanta If you still have the turquoise fingerling a really big yes please over here! My eldest is really keen and there is no sign of them anywhere!!!

margaritasbythesea · 17/12/2017 21:56

Claire´s are still doing their BOGOF on most things. There is free Click and Collect too.

JenniferYellowHat1980 · 17/12/2017 22:41

Can anyone help me to remember what those compartmentalised storage things are called please? You know, the ones men are supposed to want to keep all their chargers and gadgets in.

Scoleah · 17/12/2017 22:43

Was it the Grid-it? @JenniferYellowHat1980

AtSea1979 · 17/12/2017 22:48

jennifer I haven't the foggiest what you mean but watching to see if I need one!

Pumpkintopf · 17/12/2017 22:54

@JenniferYellowHat1980 yes it's the grid-it

JenniferYellowHat1980 · 17/12/2017 22:54

Grid-it. I knew I’d find the answer here. Thanks Flowers

Coldilox · 17/12/2017 23:00

We're off to PILs for a few days over Christmas and been asked today to provide all the Christmas chocolates and sweets. Any good offers on?
