A rubbish thread title but, well, it's 19 now!

20 days until Christmas, I'm imagining us all wrapping late at night like little festive elves readying ourselves for how excited everyone will be with their bargainous presents.

Any referral links to go on this separate thread please

CoffeeAndEnnui · 05/12/2017 20:38

Still looking for a Monsoon code before I pull the trigger on the unnecessary DD party dress purchase. Would be hugely grateful if anyone has come across one they'd share.

werewolfhowls · 05/12/2017 20:41

Bit random but has anyone seen one of those big fake spiders and you squeeze like a bulb on a tube and the spider jumps. Think my ds four will think it's a hilarious joke

TellMeItsNotTrue · 05/12/2017 20:44

Thanks for the new thread Reastie

If anyone spots Christmas spirit for sale can they let me know please? I'm severely lacking this year Xmas Sad

I’m done but these threads are an addiction! Any ideas of what I can put on crackers for 4&6 yr olds? Starting to fine tune other bits now the present buying is all done. Thanks

Cycology have a sale on if you have any bike enthusiasts to buy for

Checking in.

Feeling a bit stressed about everything christmas. It always happens, im not sure why. I imagine the full of december happy and cheerful with lots of family time. I book events like breakfast with santa and a dinner with my family but I always end up feeling so irritated now.

After starting in august its now december and I still have presents to buy. I started wrapping last night but hated it and done 10 presents and went to bed with a sore back.

I ordered a blender for my dad, he asked for a powerful blender and when it arrived it was MASSIVE. Like an industrial sized blender. Tried to return it and the post office want £17 to do so.

Need to sort my house out before I can put up my decorations as its so unorganised and cluttered.

I think I feel the stress as OH does nothing in terms of shopping or organising and it now feels too much.

Sorry for being so miserable. Any tips to start feeling more festive?

PerfumeIsAMessage · 05/12/2017 21:04

Evening all. Missed half a thread due to real life.

Fire Stick arrived today as did a pair of gloves from Gap. Hmm. Hope the scarf is also on its way.

Need to get paid so Amazon basket (I say basket, but Obviously I mean something the size of the coca cola truck! ) can be one clicked.

Ilikesweetpeas · 05/12/2017 21:08

Epic fail from me, ordered some books for DD from Tesco, did click and collect but to the wrong store!! Felt such an idiot when I went to collect them and they pointed out my error...

margaritasbythesea · 05/12/2017 21:09

CuriousGeorgy - I am with you - especially when half the presents I have to order are from other people either to yet more other people and myself. I am resorting to beer.

I am currently getting myself tied up in knots over those light up magic tracks. DS insists he wants them, and now MIL has told me her budget, I could get them for him, but I just don´t think he will play with them much. He is 7. Any thoughts.

Also Japanese style brush pens. DD just cried in a bookshop as she suddenly spotted them and told me she has wanted them for ages but she didn´t know what they were called. They were four euro each one. The tears came when I told her that her piggy bank money only covered two. She wants loads. Of course she does poor thing they are lovely ...

margaritasbythesea · 05/12/2017 21:17

Oh, and here are the rude mugs at Holy Flaps. Can´t wait until my kids grow up a bit (and my non-British DH miraculously develops this sens of humour)

Freezingwinter · 05/12/2017 21:22

It's probably already been mentioned but the body shop have £25 off a £50 and free delivery!!! I got lots of pressies for everyone, £53 worth of things for about £28. The code is on their site!

woodwaj · 05/12/2017 21:29

Reluctant have a look at filthy sentiments. They do mugs etc but also do secret Santa mystery boxes.

RosieBdy · 05/12/2017 21:37

Can I have a bit of Christmas thread help please?
My DS’ year 7 tutor group are doing a secret Santa. He has to spend £5 and got a girl. He used a bit of initiative and asked her friend ‘my friend wants to know what X would like for Christmas’ (which apparently is what they’ve all been doing!) and got told that she likes stress balls...
I’ve searched for stress balls, but can’t find anything that looks £5 ish and had a bit of thought put into it. Any ideas for an 11 year old girl oh wise ones? TIA!

Givealittlebit · 05/12/2017 21:39

Arghh I thought I was done but typically OH hasn't brought his secret santa yet and it's for my brother.
But his birthday was a week ago so I used all my ideas then!

Any ideas for a 26 year old man, very into gaming, any thing geeky and weird humour.
Budget of £30.
Any help appreciated, thanks!

margaritasbythesea · 05/12/2017 21:43

Rose i think SHe might mean squishies. Put slow rise jumbo squishy into eBay. They are ververy popular and marketed as stress toys.

ReluctantCamper · 05/12/2017 21:45

thank you for all the help an suggestions. nothing says merry christmas like a chocolate anus!

margaritasbythesea · 05/12/2017 21:46
