A rubbish thread title but, well, it's 19 now!

20 days until Christmas, I'm imagining us all wrapping late at night like little festive elves readying ourselves for how excited everyone will be with their bargainous presents.

Any referral links to go on this separate thread please

For the Italian Secret Santa poster- I've just bought (for me!) the Nigel Slater Christmas Chronicles book for a tenner. It's lovely, a sort of cookbook come musings on Christmasses past.

Could I be PMd a Bloom code as well please? I can't see one on the referrals thread, sorry! Flowers

justkeeponsmiling · 12/12/2017 17:59

Thank you Time I have just ordered an Alice in Wonderland one and will give her some nice washi tape/pens/stamps with it. I will do as Dolphin sugested and print out some ideas how to use it as well. Thanks RJ for the link too! Abd everyone else for their ideas and suggetions!

ThatsMySantaHisBeardIsSoFluffy · 12/12/2017 18:06

I've PM'd you, @PerfumeIsAMessage.

Echo Dots also down to £34.99 at Very! If you are new to Very and open an account you also get the 10% off first order (with code LXJUD) and makes the Echo Dot £31.50

PiePieChickenPie · 12/12/2017 18:35

Any book people free delivery codes around atm? Thanks

Sixp · 12/12/2017 18:54

I went RL shopping today and M&S had all their beauty gifts marked as 50% off.

PunkAssMoFo · 12/12/2017 19:12

I got a £10 lol doll!!! Randomly popped into Tesco & fortunately didn’t have dd with me. Was stood with several other mums in shock that they had so many. Literally one more gift to buy now.

mayathebee · 12/12/2017 19:13

I need to get some bits of furniture and figures for a sylvanians playset and a baby doll that can go in the bath. I can get them nearly anywhere and they come to £30-35 everywhere I look. Are there any discounts around I've missed for Toys r us, Argos, Smyth, etc to help me decide where to order from???

lifelongfrugaleer · 12/12/2017 19:28

Can't find the referral thread. May I have a bloom and wild code?

PunkAssMoFo · 12/12/2017 19:36

lifelongfrugaleer pm’d you

caffeinated · 12/12/2017 19:52

Casablanca I pmd you my Adidas code.

GruffaloPants · 12/12/2017 20:02

@mayathebee I've found Amazon best for Sylvanian stuff price wise. John Lewis do the odd price drop (got the caravan for less than half price). Also worth checking out TK Maxx online and in store, prices are good but stock unpredictable.

cookiefiend · 12/12/2017 20:45

Playmobil petting zoo £13.50- apparently the best price (average is £22) at amazon

Penguins hatchimal £45 at amazon

Zapf interactive stuffed dragon thing down to £25, average £49 here

Theonlyoneiknow · 12/12/2017 20:48

@matathebee i buy sylvanian things 2nd hand off local selling sites as get some good bundles and can save a LOT of money!

mayathebee · 12/12/2017 21:05

Thanks GruffaloPants, amazon probably is cheapest. I was just hoping for a small discount to make me feel better for spending so much on a tiny sofa!

Thanks Theonlyoneiknow , I have been looking on local selling sites but they all seem to have larger bundles and I just want a sofa and a bed. I'm really busy next week so I'm reluctant to leave it. I will definitely be looking at them if the DDs want to add to their collection! You seem to get good discounts on the buildings but not on the figures and furniture.

mayathebee · 12/12/2017 21:06

I'd be happy with a larger bundle if it was cheap but they are quite pricey and I've really spent enough.

GruffaloPants · 12/12/2017 21:10

I know! The prices are painful. I did get a sofa on Amazon for £3.99, which wasn't too bad. It's an add on item though. Model 5150.

RJnomore1 · 12/12/2017 21:12

Can anyone remember the name of the blog with the magazine subscriptions on it?

eitak22 · 12/12/2017 21:12

Just keep on smiling for your DD (17) what about a buddy box? Its a subscription (you can also buy one offs and previous boxes) targeted at those with depression. IVe had them and love them.

Here's an example

For other DD what about one Kirstie alsopp's craft kits (there's felting, metal stamping etc) which are reduced at Hobby craft at the minute.

CoffeeAndEnnui · 12/12/2017 21:35

Is the PP who posted about the Lucky Dip Club subscription offer (several threads back) still here? Think it was a promotion for a box of around 6 pairs of socks with the code but cannot find the screenshot I took. Help?!

RJnomore1 · 12/12/2017 21:38

Thank you hugless I shall bookmark it!

BluePlanetBaby · 12/12/2017 22:03

Thanks so much for the fleece advice, went with Asda and have to sit on my hands not to get 5 of them.....

yumyumpoppycat · 12/12/2017 22:43

I have probably left it too late but I would quite like to get a comic subscription for ds. He likes Marvel comics - anyone found any deals for this type of thing please?
